The recently added script runs once on start up and will only run again when it re-enters the Home screen after a library update has been run.

Even if I run it every time you enter the Home screen it'll still have the same effect as it does now but with the added load of running a script when it's not needed, and this exactly how all skins handle it as far as I'm aware.

This however will be irrelevant when using Eden because it will then be handled by XBMC and should update the entries whenever there's a change to the library.

Home screen menu - gosquad - 2011-05-13

Wow, this is indeed a great skin. Nice and easy to use.
One thing I like(d) about boxee is that it's easy to get to the menu by just hitting the 'menu' button on the remote. Is this doable from the main home screen? Hitting 'left' has never felt intuitive to me (though it's used throughout xbmc).

I like the skin too. Before I'd used skins like Alaska or Night, with tons of features and customizations, but this skin somehow brings the best user experience for me. It's like a whole new approach that brings us back to basic functions but with a nice consistent gui.

Yeah, this skin is awesome on AppleTV2. Verry snappy & clean looking. I was pretty happy with Mediastream Redux (nearly every other skin caused a lag in the UI that annoyed me) and just looked at XeeBo out of curiosity. Had I gotten the BoXee reference, I likely wouldn't even have bothered since I found BoXee to be a Box of frustration. But, this is NICE and I may just keep it as my default skin. Hitcher: Thanks for this and your many other great contributions!

I know others have mentioned this as well and I don't mean to pile on - because I know you can't please everyone, and I hate to sound like I am just complaining since I do love this skin - but I REALLY wish there was some way to change or replace the home page. I don't use XBMC for music at all, have very few TV Shows and don't add movies that regularly. Also, the home page doesn't seem to be consistently pulling the artwork for any of the sections, so I usually see 4 rows of identical Icons. I was able to get the Recommended Items row to refresh & show artwork but the others just show the generic icons. Either way, I would just prefer to see a black background or picture of my choosing.

One other issue that I don't know if anyone else has mentioned is that the Thumbs - in Movies for example - in any of the views except List (the top one of 4) the Thumbs look just a but smaller than they need to be and are very pixelated. This seems odd, since in list view, where the Thumbs are displayed larger - there is no pixelation.

Finally, and know it's been mentioned but I would also like to see wrapping ability - particularly for Favorites.

I know Hitcher has said that he's not likely to make any changes like I have suggested but perhaps if someone takes on the the job of making a Mod, they will consider these suggestions. I doubt I have the skills (or time right now) or I would try it myself.
