glad to see with the latest update you have put the coloured watched ticks i know you were a fan of them i was too
i think the skin (for me at least) is pretty much everything i needed to use it on a daily basis apart from two things
Watched / New / In Progress Banners on the other views (either by default or as an option in settings or side panel like where you can turn off the series information on fanart view)
and perhaps some logo-centric views like a fanart view but instead of posters there could be logos that you can scroll sideways through
i think for me if these are added i would have no real need to go back to aeon nox ( i do like that skin though very much)
but for my lower spec systems this skin would be best

don't want to do too many different colours though as really it's a bit of a silly option, but any popular colours could be included.Banners are on the "todo - soon" list. haven't decided where to put the toggle yet - side panel is getting a little crowded.
More views, will be added incl fullwall of logos, will pinch them from Hybrid - will need to change this Mod's name soon
Re Nox - I agree a great skin, would probably use it if I didn't enjoy doing my own stuff.

Firstly I love the work you've done on Hybrid and this confluence mod.
I was wondering if I could request a feature?
Would it be possible to have an option to add a Main Menu button (like movies, videos, music etc) to switch profiles?
Or if not, to have a 'custom' function where one could add 'LoadProfile(profilename)'
I have 2 separate libraries on different profiles and used to use Aeon Nox which had a custom user editable function which I would use to do this.
But I need a lower spec skin and yours seems perfect!
I did try changing Home.xml to do this, but had problems on having it work on both profiles.
I'm not sure if this is easy to add, but it would really help.

Sure, Not something I'd use but can see it's a good idea.
Added to Github version the ability to add the login screen as a Main/sub menu option. It's near the bottom of the list by the "Profiles" choice

Hmmm... Maybe put it in the main menus top info bar next to the search option. Use a small gear cog icon and place it after the search icon and have it static. You can probably even take the favorites, and power button and put them all next to the settings and make it settings strip... Get rid of the text for the search and keep the icon.
Now you can eliminate the power and favorites buttons on the bottom of the screen.
Question: when XBMC boots up, it loads to music tab, but want it to load to video tab instead. The function in settings boots it to video files vs videos homescreen. Is there a way to have it boot up on to the video homescreen instead?

glad to hear you are working on these no rush i am sure you are busy they are just some things i personally think would make the skin better
one other thing i miss from aeon nox and i just remembered it as i was setting up custom submenu for my movies menu button (great feature btw love being able to just have what i want for submenu)
is a option to have a button in the submenu to scan for new content is it possible for you to add this as an option button to add to either the main menu or the submenu
on my openelec machines i have configured a button on my remote to force a new scan but on my windows setup i cannot figure out how to do this so when i was using aeon nox there was a Update Library button i could add which would force that scan without having to exit and restart or going to a share and using context menu to press the update library button
i think the code for doing this is UpdateLibrary(video) and UpdateLibrary(music) but i have also seen it as xbmc.UpdateLibrary(video)

Move the Video tab to where the Music tab is. I purposely have not put in a option to move the startup focus of the menu as I've no way of knowing how many items are on the menu

(excuse my lack of knowledge in this) can't the start up focus be assigned to whatever menu item you choose? Assuming that option is available for the start up focus

ah my old XBMC / NZBDrone Crossover Buddy
do you happen to know a good guide for creating a keyboard.xml (i know there is some info in the wiki but not the easiest to follow) from scratch i have a keymap.xml for my openelec machines which i can just copy into the keymaps folder and be done with it however in windows as it is a bit different i have had to rely on the Awesome but not exactly speed way of using the MCE Remote Addon which is fine but having to program remotes on several machines individually can be a bit annoying

Depending on what your remote is(i use a harmony remote), create a keyboard.xml (not keymap.xml)and then you add only the keys you want to change/add, that dont exist in the default keyboard.xml. I just used the wiki to create mine and the default keyboard.xml as reference to make sure i add the keys to the right sections of XBMC...here is mine for example:

Hi Mudislander - I been reading this post and added your skin as I want to customize the home menu. I started playing around with the setttings to see what I can do with this mod. Basically what I would like to do is have custom titles (lables) and then add certain short cuts under those labels. For example I may want one label to be Sports and have addons, like sports devil, ESPN live streaming etc. Then another Label for International and have shortcut icons to TV Desi, Filmi By Nature, Zee TV Live etc and so on and so on... I was attempting this with just addons for the time being, no live streaming. I was able to create custom titles but how do I add the Shortcut icons. Video addon short cuts can only be added under the Video under short cuts. I was going to use the music, progams, weather Short cuts but under those none of the Video addons such as 1 channel show up. Hopefully what I'm saying makes sense.
I'm decent with computer but by no means an expert. Can this be done and if so is there a guide I can follow.
