RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - lazyboy0172 - 2015-11-04 What is your extendedinfo provider? Is it the addon extendedinfo? I had been using AZ Exploded but switched to this for Jarvis. I love it so far and like most of the changes better on this end, but the extended info on this version seems much less intuitive. I unfortunately can't find an image of that implementation because it is no longer supported (the skin) and the screenshots have been taken down. But one thing in particular I liked about it was the ability to add things to SickBeard or Couchpotato through their respective addons through the extendedinfo. This made widgets like trending movies and upcoming movies infinitely more helpful, as I could see a movie and add it to my couchpotato list all from the same place. Is it possible to add this in, or is it a different implementation of extendedinfo? The implementation was done by Jurial Munkey in the original release. I have no idea how sick beard or couch potato work or can be integrated, I've never used either of them. Someone that uses them would need to add support. RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - braz - 2015-11-04 A couple of big changes tonight... Changed the color picker to use Marceveldt's skin.helper.service script (requires latest git). Also added a skin setting to change the background color, though I'll probably stick with the greyscale most of the time. RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - loggio - 2015-11-05 Braz, This is cool, I tried it out and it works well, however it takes a long time to load the colour chart and I cannot get the opacity settings to stick, once you change opacity you cannot get to the "save" button without pushing up or down, but doing this resets the opacity because it takes you back to the colour chart instead of the save button. RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - loggio - 2015-11-05 Just need to change <onup>3011</onup> <ondown>3011</ondown> To 3012 on the opacity slider Also, any chance you can add the media info and extra info views from original Arctic Zephyr back in?? I used these while viewing episodes... At the moment there's no good list view for episodes as you need to see the thumbnail and plot info for episodes and not just the name. Regards, Bart RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - loggio - 2015-11-06 yeah i'm not a fan of wide view.. I like list views. As in lists that show much more than one title at a time. Specially when you have seasons that are 25 episodes long like The Simpsons. No plans to bring back those views, this is just a personal mod so won't have all of the options in the original skin. I use List view for episodes since I don't really care to see the episode thumbs. For episode thumbs, I think Icons view works best. Will take another look at the available views for episodes when I get a chance, no promises though. RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - loggio - 2015-11-06 Hi Braz, You can save yourself the trouble, I've fixed the opacity slider issue and added stripped back Media Info and Extra Info views, i removed all the extra options originally available to those views and just kept them really basic. Files can be found here: http://uploaded.net/file/2ve3bmey Would be good if you could slip these in your build, understand if you don't. Cheers, Loggio. RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - braz - 2015-11-06 Never satisfied, changed the color picker again. This time less colors so it loads faster, but more variation with darker options for the background. RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - Axel Foley - 2015-11-06 a quick and basic question: does this require the original Artic skin or can I just install this one on a new Jarvis installation? I tried installing using zip (downloaded now from github), and it fails with "dependencies not met", so I unpacked it in addons folder and it finally appeared in the list of skins. When I go into skin settings, and select any on/off option, on the right I don't see any checkbox that shows its state. So I downloaded, to be sure, the latest version of the two addon scripts in your first post (skin helper and shortcuts) just to make sure I had all prerequisites ok. Rebooted, but the problem remains. I also tried resetting all skin settings to default. Any hint? Thanks for your work. Just checked, I have all of them. Plus I updated manually to the latest versions of the two in the first post as instructed. I forgot to specify that the original Artic is working perfectly. Thanks for the help. RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - braz - 2015-11-06 (2015-11-06, 20:53)Axel Foley Wrote:In this mod there are no check boxes for radio buttons. Instead, it will show On/Off on the right side. You likely need to update to Kodi 16 Jarvis, as this is a new feature (and this mod only supports Jarvis).(2015-11-06, 20:44)bsoriano Wrote: Make sure you also have service.library.data.provider, script.extendedinfo and script.globalsearch installed, as they are required by this skin. |
