RE: Multi-Mod addition for the MQ 7 Krypton Mod - Dave.B - 2018-01-05

Hi "latts9923", Thank you for these last beautiful updates and additions to this awesome mod.
1. I've noticed that the strip star rating for music in right list view doesn't change colors (always white color no matter what is the rating).
2. record labels are shown only on layouts 3&4. Can you add them to the other layouts as well?
3. Is it possible to make discart show also in "concerts". I've tried to add the manually (info, choose art, disc art, browse) but no luck.
Thanx

@Dave.B

You're welcome sir!

I just fixed #1...good catch!  I'll look at #2 and 3.

@Jumpy73

I finally reproduced your problem.  Do you have both emiralles and Wanilton's version of MQ 7 Krypton installed at the same time?  That was how I duplicated your problem.

Yessss Smile

I followed the procedure stated by emiralles into his thread, the same thread you link at page #1 of this thread!
Please read as follow:
   "IMPORTANT NOTES: Do you need install Marcelveldt Repository ( Here ) from it install the new skin helper service and skin helper widgets too.
    after install the new version MQ KRYPTON MOD ( HERE )
    And Enjoy It,"

After this, I installed the last emiralles Mod 1.4.0.10 and, at the end, I installed your Mod (01/02/18)

What do I have to do now? Is there something to do without to start again from scratch?

EDIT:
I unistalled all (..\AppData\Roaming\Kodi folder included)... so I started from scratch
I installed kodi-17.6-Krypton-x86.exe
I installed the new "skin helper service" and "skin helper widgets" Add-ons from Marcelveldt Repository
I installed from zip file last emiralles Mod 1.4.0.10 from Here
I installed "Skin-Theme AEON MQ" Add-on
I installed your Mod (01/02/18) coping the content of your archive in the relative folders from here Multi-Mod for Krypton Mod

... the issue is still there. It is so frustrating Sad

@Jumpy73

OK...that's what I thought.  I get odd behavior on the system where I have both of those skins installed at the same time.  They reference each other's files and cause major problems.

RE: Multi-Mod addition for the MQ 7 Krypton Mod - MB1968 - 2018-01-06

Hi Latts, can this odd behaviour be avoided by disabling Wanilton's version, or do I need to uninstall one version. I'm running both skins too.

RE: Multi-Mod addition for the MQ 7 Krypton Mod - latts9923 - 2018-01-06

@MB1968

I ended up removing Wanilton's version to fix the problem.  You can run one or the other, but not both.

Strange. not even if you install the Wanilton version with a portable procedure , where is the conflict  ?

Following the installation procedure at post #1489, it seems I don't have both skin installed, only one new skin is displayed in the list in addition to the two default skins... please see the link below

Anyway I don't know why at the link above Mod 1.4.0.9 is declared and below Mod 1.4.0.10 instead... probably only a typo in different xml file

 Do you have released a new version of your mod fixing the problem?

RE: Multi-Mod addition for the MQ 7 Krypton Mod - latts9923 - 2018-01-06

@gotham_x

My Skin Settings menu was using the language file from Wanilton's version when I had both of them installed.  The media flags were also affected...that's how I finally reproduced Jumpy73's problem.

RE: Multi-Mod addition for the MQ 7 Krypton Mod - latts9923 - 2018-01-06

@Jumpy73

Yeah, the version number from the skin list is in addon.xml under skin.aeonmq7.krypton.mod.  I don't have the media flags overlapping with emiralles' version.  I was only able to reproduce the problem when I had both versions of MQ 7 installed at the same time.

Ok... what kind of installation procedure do you suggest in order not to have a dirty/mixed MQ7 MOD applied on Kodi Krypton?

RE: Multi-Mod addition for the MQ 7 Krypton Mod - latts9923 - 2018-01-07

@Jumpy73

If you've installed emiralles' v1.4.0.10 and the Multi-Mod, all you need to do then is uninstall Wanilton's version and you should be fine.

Sorry @latts9923, but I don't understand what you mean.... I think not having installed Wanilton's version (or at least not consciously Tongue).
Please see below what I have currently installled on my Kodi from the skin point of view

I don't see any Wanilton's version of the skin

Could you be so kind to suggest me how to unistall what you mean? Smile

Tks in advance
