How does EMM display the images? Does it read the actual file from the movie folder? So if I were to rename the extensions of my files externally to EMM. Delete EMM and reinstall and reinstate the appropriate settings in EMM. Will it work then? It would be like moving over from another media manager like MIP or Media Companion Gen2.

Nuno Wrote:But, you can.. with external Bulk Renamer you can change it, and in EMM just do a Reload All Movies.
XBMC have to do a refresh also.. you have to Delete xbmc database.. or de/reconfigure the sources in xbmc

Ah ok, did not see that "reload all movies" option till now...thanks

From what Nuno just posted above it would work using the "reload all movies" option....

Ok then I will do this

1. Externally rename <movename>.jpg to <moviename>.tbn
2. Externally rename <movename>.fanart.jpg to <moviename>-fanart.jpg
3. Open EMM settings and tick only these appropriate settings
4. Choose Reload All Movies in Tools menu.

Is this correct to your suggestion Nuno?

Yes, that should work

Yep, same for me. Nice find! Unfortunately for me I have so many movies where this bug happens I'll just wait till it gets fixed.

I think it's fixed in SVN. We hope to have a small bug fix release out tonight, but if you could verify the fix that would be great. If you want to, just email me at [email protected] or get on irc.freenode.net #embermm and I'll send you a test build.

Anyone here with the mpaa/cert bug that will test a pre-release to verify fix is working? I think rausch went to sleep before verifying. lol

- nul7 - 2009-07-09

Well, hopefully it's fixed. lol

r656 is available for download. You can grab it here: http://code.google.com/p/embermediamanager/downloads/list

There is also a new Ratings.xml available. You'll need to overwrite your current file located in "\Images\Ratings" with this one. If you don't update this file, no mpaa ratings will work. It was also reported that the German cert "o.Al." was missing and I added support for it, but I have no clue what it means nor can I find any info on it. If anyone has an image for it, or can tell me if it's the same as one of the current images, that would be great.

Wink

it's short for "ohne Altersbeschränkung" which basically means anyone can view it, there is no specific age you need to have in order to view it. the logo
looks like this

(it's the white one on top left)

dunno if any other country has such a "viewable for all" logo, though.

Thanks. I just guessed and set it to the same as "Germany:0"... so that is the same thing right? Lucky guess?

Code:
<name searchstring="Germany:o.Al.">
      <icon>de/de_0.png</icon>
