RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - HalfEmptY - 2019-08-31 Thank you for the Netflix update. Everything seems to be working. This is my setup; Nvidia Shield Sony Z9D Kodi 18.3 With lower resolution movies, the image clarity is slightly pixilated. The clarity is gone with the h264 coder. The only working stream option is 768x432 which is not very clear. I've noticed that the vp9 coder did a better job on lower resolution. On vp9 the picture was almost close as the native Netflix picture. Is there any way to get the vp9 back for lower resolution video? I reinstalled the latest git, remove all settings but nothing. Everything is resolved with the 15.2 release. Thanks voor the work and a great addon.. RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - webmaher - 2019-08-31 @AngryDuck almost everything... addon work perfect but still max resolution i can got is 1080p... no more UHD 4k streams... i try 1 millions combinations but fxxKing Netflix probably blocked just like Amazon Prime Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - moba77 - 2019-08-31 I have Nvidia shield too but still not working. I have uninstalled and installed but movies doesn't start ( still loading . Have I miss some settings? I have uninstalled and installed but movies doesn't start ( still loading . Have I miss some settings? Hello, I'm not sure if this will work for you, but it worked for me.. I was having the same constant loading spinner when trying to load a movie/TV show from the plugin. This is what I did: Kodi/Settings/Player/ -> "Enable HQ scalers for scaling above" (I had it off) I turned it on to 40% Allow hardware acceleration - MediaCodec [Surface] OFF Allow hardware acceleration - MediaCodec ON Rebooted and Netflix plugin now played my shows. Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - moba77 - 2019-09-01 Thanks for reply, I've tried those settings but without success (( RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - CastagnaIT - 2019-09-01 (2019-09-01, 08:25)moba77 Wrote: Thanks for reply, I've tried those settings but without success (( if you can, extract logs by enabling kodi debug so on the expert settings menu, on the profiles publish photos of how it is configured or describe it Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - moba77 - 2019-09-01 I've enabled but seems empty.. I've also reinstalled Kodi and Netflix plugin only... Same result ( RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - webmaher - 2019-09-01 Still can't play 4k on my Sony Android TV...only 1080p... Can somebody with Nvidia Shield or Xiaomi Mi S or Firestick can...? I try once more with original app and works OK... at begining streams starts with 720p or 1080p and then after 30-90 sec go up to 2160p and bitrate is then constant 15,2 Mb/s....and all 1080p or 4k streams now use HEVC (.h265) I know that about half a year ago use variable bit rate up to 30Mb/s... Is maybe constant bitrate problem or Netflix really limited at 1080p? RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - duk81 - 2019-09-02 I'm having the same issue as others with NVIDIA Shield from what I see. Here is a log creating the error: https://pastebin.com/fX6hDfAJ RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - MrMagic - 2019-09-02 (2019-09-02, 00:32)duk81 Wrote: I'm having the same issue as others with NVIDIA Shield from what I see. Both issues (for the Netflix plugin and the Inputstream plugin) are still open on Github: https://github.com/CastagnaIT/plugin.video.netflix/issues/152 https://github.com/peak3d/inputstream.adaptive/issues/293 Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - moba77 - 2019-09-02 Thanks, we are waiting for the update RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - mattyspurs76 - 2019-09-02 Just opened up kodi after a week away on holiday and a popup for this addon shows Playback error Netflix returned the following error. Error parsing MSL encodable. Error details have been written to the kodi logfile.....etc Opened the addon and put in my netflix email and password. Now I get another error. Exception. AddonSignals call timed out RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - webmaher - 2019-09-02 i just found solution for my Sony Android TV... i made log file and i saw that ESN not the same as original app... I wrote original app ESN on paper and then first delete msl_data.json and cookies in Kodi... then open Netflix addon settings and manual add ESN and voilaaaaa 4k HDR work again and bitrate is still variable and go over 20 Mb/s.... original app need 30-90 sec to turn on 4k and then bitrate is constant 15,25 Mb/s...
