RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - kmengvik - 2017-03-07 (2017-03-07, 12:29)PhilSitch Wrote: Thanks Hi @PhilSitch, You first need to build your XMLTV file using Webgrab++v.2. Then you point to it from the settings in the EPG addon. The "tvguide.co.uk" is found here: https://github.com/silentbuteo2/webgrabplus-siteinipac, but as @primaeval noted, it has problems. I can confirm that one is not working good. I used the sky one instead. There is no perfect guide for setting any of this up, but you can find good information on it here: http://www.webgrabplus.com/documentation/quick-start I'm grinding it down myself, and have been going down this lane just ahead of you RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - FXB78 - 2017-03-07 You can of course use the Webgrab addon if you prefer to use the Kodi interface. RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - primaeval - 2017-03-07 I've started adding a few Useful Posts to the front page. If anyone wants to make a tutorial post or wants to add a link to a useful post here just let me know and I'll add it to the Useful Posts. RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - gillmacca - 2017-03-07 I've decided to move my guide.xml and custom channel logos to dropbox, rather than my server. The guide is importing ok (apart from grabbing the xml file every time I launch the guide, but will figure that out later). The problem I'm having is with the channel logos. If I manually copy across my custom logos, they appear fine in the guide and also in es explorer, but when I give it the dropbox url, and 'download all channel logos' the logos are not imported properly https://www.dropbox.com/s/ug2dd5s24ok2gc1/Screenshot%202017-03-07%2013.53.53.png?dl=0 Any idea what the issue is? I don't think you can use direct linking to Dropbox any more. https://tidbits.com/article/16735 At the least I think it might need the ?dl=0 suffix to the url which the guide won't add for you. There might be a trick to it. Someone worked out how to do it with xmltv files on here a while ago. I have come across some icon folders hosted on Github. That might work until the rest of the world finds them. You can probably do it if you make direct links to the channel logos in the xmltv file with the ?dl=1 suffix. The guide just appends the channel name.png to the folder url for each channel logo. The link I get to my logo folder is https ://www.dropbox.com/sh/BLAH/BLAH?dl=0 The actual channel logo is https ://www.dropbox.com/sh/BLAH/BLAH_BLAH/logodb/BBC%20One%20HD.png?dl=1 So it is not even possible just to add the ?dl=1 bit on as you can't guess the BLAH_BLAH bit from the original folder link. RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - kmengvik - 2017-03-12 Have today installed KODI on my Apple TV. Unfortunately "TV Guide Fullscreen" do not open on it. An error message is displayed on KODI even before I attempt to run the addon. The logfile report some possibly related information from line 543 to 565: https://paste.ubuntu.com/24160966/ Has anybody else run into this before? The "FTV/Guide" addon opens fine, so this is related just to "TV Guide Fullscreen" RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - Qwijibo - 2017-03-12 Hi primaeval, A couple of things. When in the guide on the first page I am unable to scroll "up" to the bottom of the guide. It just refreshes the first page, i'm sure it was working fine in previous versions? Also when customising channel positions this works fine, however every time the guide downloads or updates the channel position reverts back to the default. Also, using RayW's Blue skin I am now getting the the EPG time bar which runs vertically through the listings. Not sure if you can help with this or if it is something RayW needs to address. Keen to know which part of the skin files to change to enable this. Thanks RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - primaeval - 2017-03-12 (2017-03-12, 03:06)kjb85 Wrote: Hi primaeval, I'm not sure if the blue skin works with all the skin changes that happened after RawW1986 uploaded it. Try Default and CatBar to see if it is due to the skin. The settings to do with scrolling are in Settings \ Appearance. "Up to Categories" and "Down to Action Bar" are so that you can reach the Category bar and Action bar in the CatBar skin with the arrow keys. You probably want "Up to Categories" to be "No". If you want the timebar behind the programs you'll have to change the position of the control in the script-tvguide-main.xml file. The control id is 4100. You can also give it a transparent texture so that the program names show through. Thanks, managed to sort it out. The scrolling to the bottom of the guide issue is a bug it seems, once I changed the listings per page from 10 it was fine. Changed it back to 10 and it didn't work again. It still however is present in the OSD screens. I can't scroll up to the bottom of the guide at all. Also, is it possible to add the function of the guide presenting a standard "No data available" message or something similar in the listings when no data is present for a channel in the xml? Would just look a bit neater than having a hyphen. This happens regular with sports channels when their is no data available outside of certain programming. Cheers RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - Qwijibo - 2017-03-14 All looks fixed in update. Thank you! RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - syztemlord - 2017-03-14 Hi guys, just wondering if there was a way to change the index numbers so they start from 101 instead of 001? Loving the guide, really is the best out there, great work Primaeval!! Thanks. There isn't a starting number offset but you can customise the index numbers. If you make your own xmltv file you can set the xmltv_id to be the index number. Set the number of digits in Settings \ Playback \ Channel Shortcut Digits. You can also use the Shortcut Editor to make a mapping file of channel names to shortcut numbers. The file ends up here and you can edit it by hand: userdata\addon_data\script.tvguide.fullscreen\channel_id_shortcut.ini You can set the channel number shortcut to start when you press a number key, or after you press a key (shift is normal) or by a shortcut numeric dialog. I'll have a look into that :-) You need to map up Menu to some key. On Windows it is mapped to m by default. You can also map up ACTION_MENU to something else in the Action Editor. [EDIT] You can also just use the normal context menu or click on the top of the epg. http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=282157&pid=2501313#pid2501313 |
