@TimT90
You can resize the image in ViewMultiplex.xml. Look for "$VAR[videocodec0]" and resize both images. The problem is this affects all the flags, so the Blu-ray flag will quickly grow too big to fit at the top of the case.

@ra77
There is no Add-on required for the characterart to display, you just need one image in the Movie/TV Show folder or multiple images in a characterart subfolder.

@latts9923 first thank you for always helping us users. i could not locate the problem until now and have tried several things. after downgrade the "MQ8-Mods" to the latest version, the "characterarts" were displayed again. With the skins "ACE2" and "Aeon Tajo" are also all "characterarts" displayed only with the current version not. that's really weird.

RE: Aeon MQ 8 Multi-Mod - Blackysb - 2021-01-27

I have some sets with only 4k uhd in them. No problem with getting all the correct flags to show but the boxset still has the sdr 8 bit showing. Is there a way to change this. I tried renaming the collection folder on my drive but that didn't work.

I have tried that now, but had no luck. Couldn't get the logo bigger. Perhaps I'm doing it wrong?

RE: Aeon MQ 8 Multi-Mod - SirRickie - 2021-01-28

Hello. I'm a Kodi user for several years. I'm running Kodi with Estuary Mod on Wn10. As the Estuary Mod is no longer maintained, I thought it's time to switch to another skin. When I saw pictures of MQ8 multi-mod skin, it blew my socks off : that's the skin I want.
Just to be 100% sure that I'm on the right path, hereunder the steps I will take to install. Please confirm if these are the right steps and in the right order (installation will not be on a fresh install, but that's no problem I guess).
  • installation of Aeon MQ8 2.9.0 from the official Kodi repository
  • downloading Aeon MQ8 Multi Mod
  • downloading additional themes
  • downloading library editor (when I click on it now, it gives me the 404 not found error. What should I do ?)
  • downloading skin info service
  • installing the 4 above downloaded files
  • configuring the skin
Is this OK ? Are there any special remarks or snakes in the grass that I should give special attention ? Tnx for reply.

Hi Angelinas

Can you guide me which api keys i need to display all these ratings and where to put them?

I have entered omdb api into Metadata Artwork Utils. Only getting rotten tomatoes rating and metacritc. But it's not picking up amount of rotten reviews and such.

Do i need tmdb api also?

Also how long are these ratings stored for? I would like the ratings cache to be permanent without having to fetch them again after awhile.

Thanks for any help

Or is there a tutorial video somewhere on this matter ?

Don't know what I'm doing wrong. The item "visual effects" is not displayed, so I guess the mod is not correctly installed (is there a better way to check it). So I installed MQ8 2.9.0, I downloaded Multi Mod, opened the ZIP file, and drag and dropped the file skin.aeonmq8 in the directory appdata/roaming/kodi/addons. Files were overwritten. I guess this is OK anyway (or do I have to delete some items in the overwritten file ?). I feel so stupid. Please help.

Yes - seems to be ok. Tried a reboot of win? I just had a problem with the skin after change and the reboot helped...

All keys need to put in setings for script.module.metadatautils.You can write from Kodi or iin userdata/addon/script.module.metadatautils/setings.xml

all off info script store in simplecache.db file.For ich site scraped file have diferent validation period.
You can change in files for provider expire time @use_cache(#), change values in 366
Now is for tmdb is 4 days, omdb 14 days....
If you use Matrix, try to instal from this zip

Well, you won't believe it. I restarted PC and the mod is installed.
