RE: Arctic Horizon - hacky4real - 2020-06-08 With the latest TMDB Helper update, ClearLogo wouldn't show in screensaver unless you have the item in your library RE: Arctic Horizon - drinfernoo - 2020-06-09 @jurialmunkey, what do you think of the info window being styled more like the submenu hub? The action buttons would be auto-width, and you could have the "widget" below scroll down to show more of the lists from the dialog. I just think that may make the info window feel a little more consistent with the rest of the skin, especially for people who use "Show Information" as their default action RE: Arctic Horizon - Edworld - 2020-06-09 (2020-06-07, 09:44)jurialmunkey Wrote:(2020-06-06, 18:53)Edworld Wrote:(2020-06-06, 09:19)jurialmunkey Wrote: Definitely not intentional. Accidentally deleted an important line of code... Should be fixed now. Arctic Horizon - tripkip - 2020-06-09 Would it be possible to honor this general Kodi view TV show setting? https://kodi.wiki/view/Settings/Media/Videos#Select_first_unwatched_TV_show_season_.2F_episode RE: Arctic Horizon - jurialmunkey - 2020-06-09 (2020-06-09, 00:25)drinfernoo Wrote: @jurialmunkey, what do you think of the info window being styled more like the submenu hub? I just think that may make the info window feel a little more consistent with the rest of the skin, especially for people who use "Show Information" as their default action I think the poster is really important in the info dialog - it is what anchors the lists as being connected to the main item. For instance, in the below screen shot I'm browsing the info dialog without the poster. Can you tell what movie these lists are for? There's nothing to differentiate or anchor the dialog and it just feels like another home screen page. At a glance, it is hard to even tell that you're in the info dialog. As soon as you click through a few different info screens and it gets really disorientating and hard to figure out where you are. In the past I've toyed with the idea of having the poster on the right side of the screen -- that way the info and list focus stays in a consistent location but you still get the poster to anchor it. But I thought it looked a bit weird having the lists disappear into the poster on the right: RE: Arctic Horizon - jurialmunkey - 2020-06-09 (2020-06-09, 07:58)tripkip Wrote: Would it be possible to honor this general Kodi view TV show setting? https://kodi.wiki/view/Settings/Media/Videos#Select_first_unwatched_TV_show_season_.2F_episode It should already work. It just won't work with the combined season/episode view because that uses a widget to display the episodes. But it should work if you open the episode view. RE: Arctic Horizon - Orbeatle - 2020-06-09 @jurialmunkey I've noticed a small 'bug' which is not that big of a deal but can get quite annoying. When I open the OSD during playback and go to the subtitle settings to change the offset, the pop-up menu doesn't dissapear. I can change the offset fine, so that's not the problem, but before (couple releases ago) I clicked on the settings icon in the OSD menu and when I opened the subtitle settings the pop-up menu disappeared. I prefered that behaviour . Is that something you could maybe look into? RE: Arctic Horizon - braz - 2020-06-10 Hey @jurialmunkey, just wanted to say awesome skin! I haven't had any time for skinning the past couple of years and have been using Aura since its release. Was curious if you're working on any new skins and stumbled upon Arctic Horizon. Wasn't expecting to like it more than Aura at first, but it quickly replaced Aura for me. Loving the wall view once I figured out how the navigation works. A couple questions/feature requests...

I'm surprised I haven't noticed that! I must've just had a run of good luck with downloaded subs syncing properly so I haven't been in there for a while. Yep that looks really odd with the menu just floating there - should be fixed now. Main reason I don't match the weather icon there is because I need something white so I can apply a colordiffuse. At the moment it doesn't really matter because there's only a dark theme but it will matter a lot more once there is a proper light theme. Yeah unfortunately wall is pretty limited in terms of control. The whole wall is faked using grouplists based on the main list and it uses a fake button to navigate using Control.Move() - so the actions are limited to the standard onright / ondown / onclick actions unfortunately. RE: Arctic Horizon - hacky4real - 2020-06-10 I've been experimenting with the showcase hub; pretty neat feature. Suggestions: could there be an option to have more than on hub widget (ie 1st, 2nd or 3rd row). Navigation from the hub to the main home screen widget ìsnt smooth sometimes Thanks RE: Arctic Horizon - darsuke - 2020-06-10 (2020-06-10, 07:30)jurialmunkey Wrote:I notice the same effect when adjusting audio offset too. Yeah it should work for both. It hides it if DialogSlider is visible, which is the dialog used by audio/sub offset. |
