I was going to suggest Skin Settings/Library/Customise Viewtypes, but when I went to check it it gives me a skin variables error Smile Is this function broken for everyone, or just me?

EDIT - Fixed it by deleting "skin.arctic.horizon-viewtypes.json", not sure what happened there... If you set Library view & Plugin view I think it should hold through the entire skin.
On my test machine I deleted that same json file to make sure I was starting from scratch again.  I started Kodi and went immediately to the viewtypes options.  I have 50 different settings there (25 for various library types and 25 for various plugin types).  None of them are just "library" or "plugin," so unless there is something very wrong or that I fundamentally don't understand, it looks like I have to set 50 different options to get "list" everywhere.  OK, not 50 (since some default to list anyway), but certainly more than 30.  And that's OK I guess.  It is mostly a one time thing as I said.
Yes I suppose if you want every single view to be list you'd have to do them all as far as I'm aware.

I did a fresh install of Kodi, have my extrafanart in the extranart folder numbered correctly. I also installed the artworkhelper from rectors github since I couldnt find it in his repo and I just dont know why it is not working.

Any ideas? Leia 18.7 windows 10

For one, you can install Artwork Helper from the repo by first installing Rector Stuff from @jurialmunkey's repo, and then going to the skin's "Manage dependencies" tab in Skin Settings.

For two, you need to make sure and turn on "Extra fanart" after installing Artwork Helper, from the "Options" menu in any plugin/library view.

Thirdly, and I can't be for certain, but I believe you have to set an autoscroll time, or it won't work.

I've just been doing tests this week on that particular feature and which settings combine to make it happen, so I can verify for a fact that it does work, given the proper setup and available artwork.

Let my try option number 3
I still can't make it work.

I installed artwork beef and the extrafanart option under options doesnt show up as it does with artwork helper.

Artwork Helper is what's used to display the "Extra fanart" slideshow. I don't know of anywhere else that extrafanart is shown, besides in the info dialog, but I believe those are all pulled from TMDbHelper, unless I'm mistaken.

Artwork Beef can be used to get the artwork.

Thanks for your input. I guess that there is a possibility that something change with the helper or TMDb

RE: Arctic Horizon - Japangelo - 2020-07-05

I noticed on my home screen using a widget that some of the cleararts I used to see are not showing anymore. Is it a fanart problem or something else?

RE: Arctic Horizon - pkscout - 2020-07-05

I have another head scratcher.  With a brand new, fresh install of Arctic Horizon, the power menu shows a full screen widget of movie showcases.  I can't seem to get rid of it unless I load some other widget (in my case I loaded the weather widget but have no provider, so that gets me a blank screen).  I noticed that AH initially loads my skin shortcuts settings from AZ2 (which is nice), so I'm wondering if something is getting loaded there that I can't see.  As with many things, not a big deal, and I have a work around.  Just curious.

I thought this was normal behavior. A few of the sections for me do full page widgets of random movies.

Yes it's default behaviour, disabling 'Use showcase hub for full-screen widgets' should turn it off, I think Smile

That was my thought too, and I have disabled that option.  But the power area still had the default full-screen widget.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Set a background for the menu item. Fullscreen widget is the fall back if no widgets or background is set.

It should already show for library stuff, addons == illegal 95% of the time, like you're doing. Take your piracy shit elsewhere

Wow, so you're saying he's using a pirated Power menu then!

You're reading way too far into this... He wanted to hide the library stuff that was showing by default. Don't jump to so many conclusions, dude.
