Looking great.
Might want to get the heart incorporated? As it's always in the rating context on trakt?

I've put it up on github, https://github.com/vonH/script.trakt

@Piers

said it earlier but that was before i had even seen the trakt themed dialogues, really nice work, especially considering the time it took, appreciate your efforts ;-)

Great skinned dialog! Big Grin

So, the master branch of the add-on is considered stable for syncing? I would like to give it a try... The duplication issue is resolved there?

Still getting this continually:-

09:11:52 T:15460 NOTICE: [trakt] [traktAPI] traktRequest(): (2) Server Busy ({"status":"failure","error":"server is over capacity"})

there are still many open issues, @Razze is obviously the authority on this matter but i dont think he considers it stable (particularly so for dev branch), everything i have seen from him on the matter states pretty much the exact opposite, until he can respond u can take a look on github and browse recent posts in this thread to get an idea of how quickly things are changing and the issues being encountered along the way, with all that said he merged dev into master last night so things could have changed wrt the master branch, all fwiw obviously

this thread is rather large so im pasting some quoted text regarding stability of the add-on directly below, i posted it 2-3 days ago but i think it still applies:

Quote:I take it there's still no stable update yet for the average user?

i would say there is definitely NOT a stable version ready for 'average' kodi users ('average' being a subjective term)

in my humble opinion (imho), it is best for the 'average' user to either avoid the add-on completely or stick with the last known working version (2.3.2) until a stable version of the upgrade (3.0.0) is released and distributed via the kodi repository

unless you are ready to deal with one or more of the following i would recommend against using the upgraded version of the add-on (v3.0.0):

1). you are comfortable working at the command prompt
2). you are capable of manually installing/removing kodi add-ons and modules
3). you are ready to deal with instability with little or no support (dev is busy making things work)
4). you are willing to risk damage to your collection on trakt.tv (risk can be mitigated through use of a dummy trakt account)

if not prepared for the above i would suggest either:

a). waiting for a stable version of the upgrade (v3.0.0)
b). continue using the last known working version (v2.3.2)
c). dont use either until the upgrade is completed

while v2.3.2 is definitely not completely functional there have been a few posts in this thread from people still using it, i dont know exactly what does and doesnt work in 2.3.2 but afaik your trakt account can be updated with all data once the upgrade is complete (assuming the information is maintained internally by kodi), if i am incorrect about this or if u know more about it please correct/clarify

either way u will want to watch here for an announcement regarding completion of the upgrade and its distribution via the kodi repository

just thought it might help in some wayUndecided

disregard, premature posticulation (lol?)

RE: [RELEASE] trakt.tv tv/movie scrobbler - Piers - 2015-02-11

Any moderators around? Can we please have this entire thread split since the last add-on has very little to do with this one.

@Razze - the items I sent to git were only so you could take a look, it's certainly not finished and requires a lot of code tidying.

Sorry, didn't really catch the preview part.
One thing that's really throwing me off are the circles, as it's virtually impossible to get a 10 centered in a circle. :/

I'm watching the issues on GitHub and I see nothing worth of troubles... Maybe next weekend I will give it a try, if no major bug pops out in the meantime Wink

The 10 from that screenshot is offset by 3 pixels - I corrected that before it went to git and it's all on there now, including a few xml updated. I've added further animations and corrected scrolling for episode titles and other items. I've also removed all the non-skin items from my git version so it's only the skin items. I've also renamed textures to remove reference to Confluence and created a new X texture.

yes, it was worse in your secreenshot, but it's still throwing me off in mine. as said you simply can't center it, as the 1 is so different from the 0.
