Same thing happening to me. I can still select sub menu items: click down to recordings, EPG, etc and they still work. I just can't select the default TV(channels).

I am unable to install the latest version of this skin on Kodi 14.0 using Windows 8.1 64bit. I keep getting the error "Add-on does not have the correct structure". I've tried all the suggestions within this thread including; renaming the zip folder from skin.amber-master.zip to skin.amber-2.0.1.zip and adding the XBT file from version 1.6.0 (although I wasn't sure on which location to put this I tested it by putting it in the root and then in the media folder).

Can anybody help please?

Is there a more verbose debug mode in your skin?

Apparantly the 2.0.1 has only one MyPVR.xml whereas the 1.7.4 working one has 5 - MyPVR(Channels|Guide|Recordings|Search|Timers).xml

After installing from "Get from ZIP file..." I'm being asked if I want to enable the new skin, which I confirm by Yes. After that I'm getting the error:
"unable to load skin: skin is missing some files"

I've tried versions 1.7.1, 1.7.3, 1.7.4, 2.0.0, and 2.0.1, always getting the same error. So it shouldn't be version related.

Running Kodi on Raspberry Pi.

Apparently those 5 missing files mentioned above are the culprits. Add them to the 2.0.1 from the 1.7.4 and then zip the folder. Live TV works!

This. It went from usable, clean and easy to down right bad and then to horrible. I wish they didn't have the market cornered.

I build a version with the missing Files and fix the calls to the built-in functions (ActivateWindowAndFocus(MyPVR, 32,0, 11,0) with ActivateWindow(TVChannels) or ActivateWindow(RadioChannels) etc.

Test it and give Feedback to Pecinko.

Can you map these 5 MyPVR(Channels|Guide|Recordings|Search|Timers).xml files to their respective sub-menus in the LIVE TV section?
They all default to opening up the "PVR - Channels" when clicked.

Version 2.0.2 is up on Git

Hopefully, PVR is fixed now. I'm blind coding here so feedback is necessary.

EDIT, just added:

- Add green, blue and white color theme in addition to default orange

Hi Pecinko,

Glad that you have been able to get back into the skin now. Not sure if you know but for testing the PVR elements there is a PVR Client called 'PVR Demo Client' which loads some dummy channels, icons, EPG, recordings etc. which is very useful for testing without a working PVR setup. Hope this helps.

Hey Joe,

I know about that but problem is installing it on Mac OS X, making it work, and above all, lack of time and motivation on my side to mess with all those sh*t.

I got pissed yesterday as updating languages meant manually opening all translations windows on transifex, downloading and copying it to a skin DIR, manually creating folders and such. Those tedious tasks are killing my skinning experience. I had many ideas for both Quartz and Amber but I never managed to complete them because designing is just 10% of all the work that has to be done on a skin while 90% of boring stuff keeps eating your time.

Anyhow, many thanks for your work on Amber!
