RE: Xonfluence Omega Mod/Fixes - otinley - 2025-01-29 Unsupported means that it is not actively worked on and that there is no one stepping forward to add features, respond to requests or even take the reigns to officially host the skin. RE: Xonfluence Omega Mod/Fixes - VonMagnum - 2025-01-30 Unsupported by KODI means something different to me entirely, but I understand what you're saying. It's hard to believe one of the best skins ever made for KODI attracts no developers to support it, though. But then I never understood why they dumped Confluence skin for that green atrocity either. RE: Xonfluence Omega Mod/Fixes - otinley - 2025-01-30 I never said 'unsupported by Kodi' though as I would have used the term 'not compatible with Kodi'. So yes, the skin is fully compatible with versions 21 & 22 of Kodi but no one is officially supporting the skin'. Either way, you are right; it is a sad situation. On the other hand, who wants to deal with thankless users whose behavior borders on harassment? RE: Xonfluence Omega Mod/Fixes - VonMagnum - 2025-01-31 Yeah, I ran into that with Visual Pinmame tables. I eventually got fed up and realized I could be doing other things with my time. I've got people whining in a home theater thread on another site about explanation posts. A technical answer is gold to some and garbage to those that already know the answer (or think they do). When they start complaining about the original topic getting derailed with technical explanations and you're the one bothering to explain it, you get sick of the whining pretty quick. How hard is it to skip over to the next post or two? It makes me not want to bother. |
