Sorry, that was unintentional. Season Info 2 view should be fixed now.

But the option is meant to disable plot and poster, not the name of what is played.
I will take a look in your XMLs and try to make an suggestion.

This is a fair point - you've given me an idea actually.

With the option enabled - What if I remove poster, plot and ratings, but keep the Title and InfoLine (Year | MPAA | Genre).
Title/Infoline move down and to the left (where poster would be).

I'll try a few things and report back.

EDIT: Please try v0.9.31

From the context menu, choose "Information". You can also change it to be the default action somewhere in Kodi's settings, but I can never remember which section it's in.

It should also be pointed out that that episode info screen in the screenshot is not currently in the skin - but I do have plans to revive it as I like the idea of showing the thumbnail rather than the poster for episodes/videos.

I would appreciate this similar to the subtitle button. By default to switch audio and by option to open dialog.

Did you miss this?
Would be nice to see in an further version.

There was already a lengthy discussion in this thread about discart. The short of it is that it won't be shown on the info screen.

However it can be viewed in the artwork gallery by pressing down on info dialog till you get to the bottom and then scrolling right.

I don't like using clearlogo as headings because the dimensions are too inconsistent and it's almost impossible to get a good left/right top/bottom alignment. Only thing that works is when they are centred above body text (which doesn't suit here).
Great news about the seekbar and apologies I must have glossed over the discart conversation, but hadn't realised it was available at the bottom of the info dialogue , so that's cool, thanks. I can get with logos as I contribute to fanart tv and scaling a logo to fit the same space is a challenge and doesn't always translate well to some skins. Keep up the great work and ill continue to use and test.

I have encountered an odd behaviour on info dialogue for movies. The collection info (a great feature btw) works fine when viewing a movie that's part of a set ….

e.g. avengers collection from infinity war....
Image

But once you move to anunrelated film that doesn't belong to a set, the dialog remains with no title

e.g.awakenings

Cheers,
Ryan

Same here, I don't know why but it seems that the set container does not get refreshed while browsing through titles. My (ugly) solution is manually change the visibility condition, using the ListItem.SetID instead of checking the Container(5001).NumItems...

Works for me because my movies only have SetID if they are part of an existent set.

I'm sure that there's a reason for this behavior and a much better way to solve it...

Hope this helps and many thanks for your fantastic work Smile

I have not been able to reproduce this behaviour at all.
I'll add a check for SetID.
Can you test v0.9.31-a6 and confirm that it fixes the issue?

It's black, therefore doesn't fit in with the fanart and it's frequently incorrect (which is my experience and besides the point 'cause I know it isn't yours). I'd love to get rid of it.

I'm looking into the Next Aired issues with incorrect data.

The colour issue on lovefilm should be fixed as of v0.9.31-a7
I've also made a few aesthetic improvements with how it scrolls

Great work on v2 of this skin - a welcome modernisation of an already excellent skin !

I've got a bit of a request for PVR functionality.  Could you please maybe have an option setting to use the 'old' style popup channel blade (as per image below) ?

The main this I feel the current one is missing are :
  • Ability to move through channel groups via left and right on the remote
  • Compactness - only current show title & progress
  • Channel icons
I'd be much obliged if you could add this, as I for one use this more than the guide itself for channel hopping.

Cheers!

I agree, it was far better. It's on my todo list:

Haven't come across any issues, just a question; is there a way to enable "pan and zoom" on the home screen when using my own background images? Pretty sure you could on older versions. Makes the home screen that little more interesting.

Did you enter your API keys into script.module.metadatautils?

On a related note, @jurialmunkey do your skins also use metahandler for anything? And do you know if those modules use the v1 or v2 TVDB key?

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - NinjaMonkeyUK - 2019-05-05

@jurialmunkey, this skin is simply amazing!

Please consider adding aspect ratio to the set of icons at the bottom right of the screen, between video codec and audio codec.  I would argue that this information is far more important than the video codec so it should be there.

The reason I need this information readily available is that I use a scope (2.35:1) screen for my projector, so I need to decide which lens memory to set it to (1.78, 1.85, 2.20, 2.35, etc) before watching the movie.  Having this info on the main screen alongside video and audio codecs would be really helpful, and is a feature I sorely miss from the original Arctic: Zephyr skin!

If necessary, I can make the relevant icons if you let me know what resolution and format (I assume PNG) you need them in.
