Holy moly Batman! You sir, rock! Is there some sort of community award we can nominate you for? It works, and bloody hell it is fast! I haven't used the auth method, just put in my details and wahey! I'm going to do more tinkering. Seriously you deserve a lot credit for this. RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - Hinkel - 2017-06-07 @primaeval, look at this, https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/12125 Migrate add-on settings to settings library . Addon settings dialog is broken after last nightly. I just tried KodiSetup-20170606-21c2dba5a9-Krypton-x86 as a fresh install with "tvguide.co.uk now" as the source and "iplayer www" live streams. It has worked fine so far. (https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/12125) 2597584 (post) "Build Highlights: [Add-ons / settings] migrate add-on settings Build Details: XBMC: [Add-ons / settings] migrate add-on settings to settings library (PR: 12125, 33 commits, 192 files changed) " Sorry if I can not express myself right, see what happens in the image below: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B5R-eUSBSipvcE1Kb1k5MzF3Tlk RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - primaeval - 2017-06-07 (2017-06-07, 15:00)Hinkel Wrote:(2017-06-07, 08:52)primaeval Wrote:(2017-06-07, 05:27)Hinkel Wrote: @primaeval, look at this, There is definitely something wrong with yours. Are you using the same version that I tried? KodiSetup-20170606-21c2dba5a9-Krypton-x86 Is it a fresh install or is it using your previous Settings? Does it still happen in a new Profile or Portable Install? kodi.exe -p RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - MikeKL - 2017-06-07 Primaeval & Hinkel I believe the issue is with transfer of our previous addon settings from a previous nightly build to build that introduced new settings options in Leia where it looks like our user settings for TV Guide Fullscreen were NOT successfully transferred? If you started fresh primeval perhaps all setting are correctly set up under new settings environment? I have same problem as Hinkel, build 0606 and imagine issue introduced by 0604 see following Will step back to build 0604 to see if settings work ok in 0604... RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - primaeval - 2017-06-07 (2017-06-07, 20:42)MikeKL Wrote: Primaeval & Hinkel Is there still something useful in the settings.xml file in userdata\addon_data\script.tvguide.fullscreen or is it totally messed up? I really don't see the benefit in them changing such a fundamental thing as the settings system, especially as the devs involved don't even make addons and see the chaos it is causing. RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - MikeKL - 2017-06-07 Stepped back to 0604 and same first screen when going into settings option of TV Guide Fullscreen. (Now back on 0606) Checked and settings seem to be OK, i.e. here is the settings information in GUI when selecting source option for example Code: <settings> Will mention we are having settings visibilty issues in millhouse nightly build thread. You are using builds from here: http://mirrors.kodi.tv/nightlies/win32/master/ There are a load of warnings in the log file like this: Code: CAddonSettings[script.tvguide.fullscreen]: ignoring old setting definition of type "text" without id I don't know how much time and energy I can summon to keep up with these random changes. If it ain't broke don't fix it. (If add-on continues to work fully in Leia "minus ocassional expected hicupps" great and if not...oh well never mind and I drop back to Krypton offical builds when using TV Guide Fullscreen ) RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - primaeval - 2017-06-08 (2017-06-07, 23:30)MikeKL Wrote:(2017-06-07, 21:33)primaeval Wrote: I don't know how much time and energy I can summon to keep up with these random changes.Dont worry I am not personally asking/expecting you to fix anything for Leia Nightly builds, just drawing your general awareness to future changes. (If add-on continues to work fully in Leia "minus ocassional expected hicupps" great and if not...oh well never mind and I drop back to Krypton offical builds when using TV Guide Fullscreen ) It looks like they have changed a lot of things in the settings. It looks like they are ignoring the text labels and only using ids. They have started to interpret periods . in the setting id as levels. It looks like they have removed or not re-added System.HasAddon as an action. This has messed up most of my settings. If someone wants to try and fix it I would appreciate it. Right now I really don't have the energy to clean up this level of mess. RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - Hinkel - 2017-06-09 @ Primaeval, my version is this: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=298462&pid=2600137#pid2600137 Do not worry about that. This is happening with many other addons, not just with yours. I think only those who were not adapted to Leia, and it is related to a new format settings.xml. [add-ons/settings] migrate add-on settings to settings library #12125 More information can access the links I posted earlier. Forget it. I really appreciate your wonderful work. Thank you.
