Are you using this version 0.0.2 repo zip file?

The FireTV can be a bit temperamental but it should work for this.
Unknown sources are permitted, and yeah that's the link I'm using - as I said it does show the zip contents in File Manager but won't let me do anything in Install from Zip
I have successfully installed a couple of other addons from repo and zip.
I don't want to waste your time, just thought you might have come across this before and have an easy fix.

I'm glad it worked.
That is an interesting point though.
There are quite a lot of repos hosted on Github these days.
They all have to serve the repo.zip file from somewhere else because Github doesn't share the directory listing for Kodi to read it in the File Manager.
I tried various tricks to see if I could get the Kodi File Manger to use the repo.zip directly but I failed so far.
If anyone has solved this problem I would love to know.

rpi3 now (with a much simpler guide setup using addons only) is exhibiting exactly same issue as my rpi2 that I reported earlier where I am unable to even access addon after it worked successfully previously and without me attempting to make any changes to TV Guide Fullscreen settings manually etc.

Perhaps an element time bound that is updated by addon, is not updating correctly with the new unfinished settings changes in Leia..
Not expecting any fix, just providing feedback in case you want me to try anything in order to gather additional info.
(or keep in current state to see if another nightly build with Montellese additions gets addon auto-magically working again etc)

You'll have to keep an eye on Montellese's updates if you need it to work.
At the moment the "skin" and "fixtures" settings don't work due to his new settings code.
That means that it won't even load TV Guide Fullscreen because it can't find the name of the skin.
He has talked about some fixes.
We'll have to see what happens.

I have a very quick question.
I have seen that channels can be organized by categories, but I can not find the direct access or the key in your program to switch between categories without having to enter the configuration menu. Ie change categories from the epg panel.
I also have several epg tabs.
How can I do it so that when I start the program I ask with which of the guides I want to start?

The m menu key will bring up the Categories bar in the Default skin.
In the Catbar skin there is a Setting to get to the permanent Categories bar:
Settings \ Appearance \ Up To Categories Bar
You just continue pressing up to get to it.
There are also 2 actions in
Settings \ Lab1 \ Action Editor
which you can map up with the "Keymap Editor" addon to get to the Categories bar.

The Last Category should be chosen when you restart the guide unless you change:
Settings \ Optional \ Remember Last Category

Quick question, is there a way to have the OSD menu show stream information such as resolution, sound channels, format, etc, at the top of the screen (similar to simple client)

I'm keeping my skins simple without all the extra info.
I think the info you want is in the Kjb and White Snow skins which you have to install as extras.
I don't want to add in volume to any of my skins as it is quite niche.
You can make your own skin quite easily and add in buttons for VolumeUp and VolumeDown.
Add the commands to the onclick attribute of buttons.
This might help with the commands.

There are some unused osd buttons that you might be able to requisition.
Have a look into the Kodi addon "Keymap Editor" to map the Volume buttons to something you do have.
I use one of the cheap remote mouse/keyboards.

I'm using 2 xml files for my epg. The main one from Webgrabplus and the secondary one from XMLTV under Lab3. They both run automatically through Windows Task Scheduler every few days, and my guide is always updated.
But whenever the guide updates with the new channel info, the XMLTV channels lose the custom order that they were previously assigned to within each category, but the Webgrab channels keep their custom order. Is there a way force keep channel order? Everything else is working great and TVGFullscreen is fantastic . Thanks.

I'll have a look but I'm not sure when I can get around to it. I'm going on holiday for a bit so I'm going to focus on the kids for a while.
It is probably something to do with the channel.weight in _updateChannelAndProgramListCaches in source.py.
It probably needs an offset added based on the number of channels in the first xmltv file.
If any dev is bored and needs a puzzle to solve be my guest.
