RE: [RELEASE] Library watchdog - kevinkelm - 2013-01-06 I have to admit that I haven't read this whole thread but this addon doesn't seem to do anything for me. My sources are added as afp://192.168.1.115/root/tv I set the mode to polling with clean on. I am running Frodo on a mac mini. Any tips? Thanks RE: [RELEASE] Library watchdog - patres14 - 2013-01-06 I am also trying to get this working with TV Shows. It works with Music and Movies, but somehow I cannot get it to work with TV Shows: Debug Log: http://pastebin.com/4b27Kg1V Settings: Watch video library ON Watch music library ON Clean Library.... ON Method POLLING Only watch root directory UNCHECKED Delay 1 I am running XBMC Frodo RC3 on a W8 pc. Content is al on a windows server. Any Tips? Re: [RELEASE] Library watchdog - fernandovg - 2013-01-07 Will it clean old files deleted before the instalation of this serivce that are still at the library? XBMC dont handle good clean library of HDD files. If not can I request as a new feature? RE: [RELEASE] Library watchdog - Anthony25 - 2013-01-14 Hello, I get an error with your addon : http://pastebin.com/h4XjmvBw XBMC Frodo RC3 on Archlinux Raspberry Pi. XBMC dont handle good clean library of HDD files. That's the 'clean library' feature in xbmc. It's what this addon is using. You can invoke it manually. RE: [RELEASE] Library watchdog - Anthony25 - 2013-01-15 Sorry for the bad link, this one mights work. http://pastebin.com/iFPrT61Y PS : I have to sleep ... Clearly, you don't have read permission to some of you media sources. More than that I cant say because it's a snippet RE: [RELEASE] Library watchdog - Anthony25 - 2013-01-15 Ok thank you, I will check that. I will join a complete log too. Thanks again for your help ! Edit : You were right, few files didn't have the read permission for "others". I should have read with more attention the log file... Thank you for the help, the bug doesn't come from the addon but from me :-° But if the xbmc API allows it, maybe you could print simple errors directly in XBMC ? It is just an idea to improve the addon RE: [RELEASE] Library watchdog - jadel - 2013-01-19 Is it possible for it to just scan the folder that changed rather than a full library scan? RE: [RELEASE] Library watchdog - WhoCares - 2013-01-22 I love this service. However, a few days ago, it stopped working. The giveaway was was when I remotely renamed one of my movie files (from my laptop), and the telltale scanning in the top right-hand corner didn't appear. I thought un-installing and re-installing might fix it, but no. I keep getting a "Script Failed! - library.watchdog" error. I'm running OpenELEC 3.0 RC 1 (2.99.1) [XBMC-Frodo]. Any ideas? RE: [RELEASE] Library watchdog - keiron99 - 2013-01-27 I know I am dim...but where do I download the repo? I have been on the XBMC wiki pages but just get in a loop and can't find where to download it. Thanks RE: [RELEASE] Library watchdog - takoi - 2013-01-27 Did you see the part about installing on the wiki page? Ok thanks Took me a couple of hours but finally figured it But I cannot get it to work. I have a Synology NAS and ATV2. I share folders using the Zeroconf protocol. I have tried both Syscall and Polling (ensuring I reboot the ATV2 when making changes to settings) but it is not scanning the library. Is it because I use Zeroconf? RE: [RELEASE] Library watchdog - takoi - 2013-01-27 Yes. I'm going to have to point you to the same wiki page, again... the part about network shares... |
