Can anybody confirm the ratings are scraped from themoviedb eventhough imdb is set as preferred? This also means no top250 info is added.

No, ratings get scraped from IMDb when IMDB is set as preferred. However I can confirm that there is no top250 info added at the moment.

Okay, well that explains one problem. I get 8.8 on The Dark Knight rises, which is the rating on themoviedb, but on IMDb its 8.6. So that, in conjunction with missing top 250, was why I thought it scraped the rating from themoviedb.

I've just switched to this from the IMDb scraper and I'm getting an unable to connect to remote server error every time I try to scan. I presumed this was due to the recent IMDb issues.

I'm getting 21:26:34 T:5584 WARNING: failed to load scraper XML which I presume is the issue, any ideas?
EDIT: I deleted the addon and it's data and re installed. Now it seems to be working fine.

I think our mirrors got confused because there were multiple updates quickly after each other.
Your XBMC is trying to download 1.8.0 while it is not there any more (we are at 1.9.0). I think if you wait a couple of hours then the problem will disappear.
