RE: Transparency! v5.0.0 for XBMC Frodo 12.0 - RavRob - 2013-01-25 Well, not sure if it is a space issue, likely. I have found that 230ish meg are used on the SD Card with only about 22 meg space left and 130ish on the internal storage with only about 120 meg space left. The 230 on the SD Card is taken entirely by XBMC as is most of the 130 on the internal storage. I removed some downloads I had but that was a few megs at most. No way to make anymore room without removing XBMC. Any other ideas? Thanks RE: Transparency! v5.0.0 for XBMC Frodo 12.0 - voochi - 2013-01-25 When using the 'hide cases' option in Fanart view, would it be possible to use rounded corners on the poster, and maybe a blue outline with drop shadow or something to help visually separate the poster from the background ? At the moment I feel visually it doesnt work. Well I have a 16 gig SD card inserted but I can't install anything to that one. The only one I can install to is the SD card IN the box...It is said to be internal SD card. How do I install to my External SD card? The only thing I was able to do with that one was to back up my Android apps. Not able to access it with XBMC unless there is something I have been missing. I asked that question in other forums and never got an answer...."HOW DO I INSTALL ADDONS TO THE EXTERNAL SD CARD" If you could help me with that I would be forever grateful. The only problem i am having is with home screen custom menu items. In the previous version of transparency; settings>skin settings>menu>custom 1/2/3 there was a option to "label" instead of just the option to "favorite" i would "label" it MISC then under submenus i would add "favorites" such as sickbeard, sabnzbd, vevo, hulu So from the home screen I would see MISC then in the submenu I would have my favorites, now it seems im no longer able to make custom menu labels. Also in the transparency version for eden i was able to edit the includes_home.xml file to show/not show "play disc" if there was/wasen't a dvd in the tray by changing <visible>Skin.HasSetting(Menu_PlayDisc)</visible> to <visible>System.HasMediaDVD</visible> and by unticking Play Disc under skin settings>menu. Now this doesnt seem to be working either. Am i missing something? Anyone care to point me in the right direction? Just realized i should've posted this in the transparency frodo section. Thanks Roni. I love the skin. In fact it was a lack of space. I used GL to SD to move some files to the external SD card and was able to finally installed the skin. I did say in my initial post that I was using a Jynxbox but that was a few posts past http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=146556&pid=1309761#pid1309761 Anyway, I now have the skin but would like to have a HOME button so that when I am deep in addons and tv shows I can just click the home button to get back to the home screen. Anyway to do this? How? Thanks for your help. Anyway to do this? usually one of the buttons on the remote can be used to do that. if yours doesn't have one, you'll need to modify the keymap file. see wiki: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Keymap RE: Transparency! v5.0.0 for XBMC Frodo 12.0 - RavRob - 2013-01-28 Thanks Ronie RE: Transparency! v5.0.0 for XBMC Frodo 12.0 - chimpfury - 2013-01-30 First off I just want to say that I wouldn't know what to do without transparency on XBMC and I can't thank you enough ronie. However, I just upgraded to Frodo and noticed that there is no banner view for TV shows. Am I missing something? All my artwork is downloaded in each individual show folder (ie poster.jpg & banner.jpg). But when I cycle through the views there is no 'Wide' view anymore that shows two rows of banners side by side. The closest view I could find is 'thumbnail' but that just mushes my banners up, and besides, I don't much care for posters. Thanks for all your hard work and continued support of the best skin on xbmc. |
