RE: Arctic - PatOso - 2013-09-02 I have the same problem, when I select art with "artwork downloader" appears script error message. version="12.0.18. RE: Arctic - jurialmunkey - 2013-09-02 Its something related to Artwork Downloader as far as I can tell. I'm looking into how to use the fanart from the database. Jurial not sure if you're already aware of this fanart grabber addon that was created to use the fanart from the XBMC database http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=166572 (2013-09-02, 03:51)ghostelement Wrote: I tried using artwork organizer, but it didn't copy any of my art. I'm hoping you figure out another method. I know Aeon Nox has the functionality built into the skin, so maybe it's something you can borrow. Did you nominate a folder location for the artwork to be copied to? I think it's in the Advanced menu in settings for Artwork Organiser. The addon can't work without a nominated location to copy files to. RE: Arctic - jurialmunkey - 2013-09-02 (2013-09-02, 09:02)Cassiel Wrote: Delete all files within "Media" and put the file in there. I'm pretty sure I remember reading that somewhere in the wiki. I wonder if that is how skins like Aeon Nox do it? I'm pretty sure I remember reading that somewhere in the wiki. As far as I know it reads the Textures.xbt but separate files within this directory will be treated as overrides. But maybe I'm wrong… Sorry to bother you again… Transifex? RE: Arctic - SmithersJ0nes - 2013-09-02 Hi, I have another request regarding TV Season covers. When using "Medium List" to view seasons and episodes the season page shows the correct season cover but when entering that season to show the episodes the cover reverts back to the default TV show poster (season-all). Can the logic be changed to show the season poster (season(XX)-poster) when viewing episodes for that season? Thanks for your time. RE: Arctic - micoba - 2013-09-02 Hi! Thank you for the fantastic skin. But am I the only one with crashes? I'm using Openelec on a Intel Nuc i3. It is also a little bit slower than Aeon Nox. But I'm sure that's only because it's wip. I tried to install the latest version from git (downloaded yesterday) but the version remains 0.3.4. Is that normal? Again thank you! Keep up the great work! But maybe I'm wrong…You may well be right. I swear I saw something about this in the wiki, but for the life of me I now cannot find it - the only thing I can find is that custom themes override everything else. EDIT: Actually, I'm certain that the textures files overrides because I just recently changed the clocks for the light osd so they looked a bit more like the osd buttons - then I also dropped an old textures.xbt in the directory and it was using the old clock images from the textures file. Regarding transifex: I'm still waiting to hear back from the mailing list. I sent a request at least two weeks ago to be added to transifex, but no word yet. I'll I look into it further if I don't get a response in the next couple of days. Believe me, I'm eager to get it up there! Thanks for your time.Annoyingly, xbmc only provides access to season posters in the database for videoinfo or at season level of the library. And there isn't a way to have a condition to check whether or not a file exists, so it causes problems accessing local files - it means I have to create new controls for every view type. I need more details than just "it crashes" - when does it happen etc. RE: Arctic - ghostelement - 2013-09-03 I am experiencing some flickering on the bottom of the screen and on the right side of my screen. I only get the flickering when using this skin. I've made a couple quick videos of it here: http://youtu.be/x2Th-As0joY http://youtu.be/dOyLFe5DWoE Anyone know what might cause that? Can you try changing to either the Carbon Ocean or Dark colour theme ("Settings > Appearance > Skin > Colours") and let me know if it still happens with those themes? RE: Arctic - ghostelement - 2013-09-03 I have an LED TV. I've tried the other color themes and they still have the same issue. Try to change vertical sync and/or in case of Windows "fullscreen window/true fullscreen". RE: Arctic - jurialmunkey - 2013-09-03 A few other people have had this issue but I really can't figure out what is causing it. Its really annoying because it doesn't happen to me so it makes really difficult to test things. RE: Arctic - somawhite402 - 2013-09-03 With the flickering issue I've found this happens on some skins on Windows if you have Task Manager on (seems to be something to do with the DWM service refreshing the CPU usage graphs) and occasionally it seems to do the same thing with the odd application (again only with applications that constantly refresh such as resource monitors etc.) I hope that's off some use to you. Out of curiosity is there anyway of adding the ROM Browser widget (the game thingy with the cover thing <---New official name for it in this house ) when using the SIMPLE homescreen? And to conclude this skin is utterly awesome. Thanks a lot for all the hard work, jurial. |
