Is anyone else finding that this will work when using Amazon's online tester but not when they speak to alexa?

yep ive added the addons into the custom slot but only a couple work.....all ok in aws tester.youtube for example works but not bbc iplayer or itv. i guess amazon views "i" as eye or something like that.im sure the devs are aware and already have a plan to best sort this out. my first thought would be to incorporate an extra field that points to the add on that allows you to rename it?

Navigation and video control works great, but when trying to play a movie or tv show I keep getting "Playing videos is not supported on this device". I'm using Amazon Echo.
Anyone know why?

Same here. Was working ok then i installed the new rc and now i get the same message every time. Pause and resume works sometimes though.

Is this still being supported? Kodi release candidate r2 here. Navigation controls work but "playing videos is not supported on this device" is repeated every time i try to play any video.

I have this same issue. really wanna get this working Sad

Alexa literally says nothing in response and just does a low boop noise. Nothing appears in the app.

Any ideas? I followed the instructions to the letter. I'm in the UK, so I do know if the end point is wrong. I can't choose Language as UK either as it doesn't like the LITERAL intent. Says it's not supported by this locale so I've set it up as US English as per the instructions.

I installed it on the skill and addon very cool. It would be a two-observation.

the addon works in a couple of hours and then alexa says it does not reach wrong with it, what makes it possible?

+ I say the kodi " Tell kodi navigate" its work but one command then exit. spoil what? Sorry my English.

Due to the large difficulty of keeping addons up to date, development on a new project for android/androidtv/firetv will be stared, which will interface directly with APPS for these platforms, which are much more stable than kodi addons.

Expect the new project to be up in the coming weeks, and have this project integrated into it."

Not sure exactly what this means. Will i still be able to use it with my Windows pc? I only want it for my local database but it stopped working altogether saying" kodi is not connected to the server".

followed all the steps and have the kodi skill in my skills list, however when asking for my key I get the response "I can't find that skill". Any help would be much appreciated Sad

Change the name from Cody to something more complex if she can't find the skill. I had the same issue until I changed it to Cody media center. Then she picked it up right away.

My issue is my build uses tvdb and alexa cant find sources for anything. Can't figure out how to add tvdbid as an information source as it isn't listed.
