RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - primaeval - 2016-08-12 0.0.57 - new Dark skin (courtesy of iainmacleod) Thanks. RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - im85288 - 2016-08-14 I had some time this weekend so decided to mess about with skinning a bit especially in the osd area. Just sent a PR with the following additional skin RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - primaeval - 2016-08-14 (2016-08-14, 20:23)im85288 Wrote: I had some time this weekend so decided to mess about with skinning a bit especially in the osd area. RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - im85288 - 2016-08-14 No problem at all, the addon is very powerful (especially allowing channel surfing through the osd like proper dvr's) so wanted to emphasise that a bit with the up/down arrows. I keep discovering new features especially after browsing the code a bit RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - primaeval - 2016-08-14 0.0.58 - new sly skin (by im85288) I set the sly skin to the default Setting to show it off to new users. I already got a comment about my skins being a bit rough today, so thanks once again for a nice new shiny skin. I got hijacked on some of my other addons recently, but I think I can devote a bit more time to helping tidy this one up a bit now. Something that needs an artist eye is a new name for this addon. TV Guide Fullscreen is just a functional placeholder until someone comes up with is something more catchy. RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - iainmacleod - 2016-08-14 Can't wait to play with the new skin. Sent from my OnePlus 2 RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - dannyrobbo - 2016-08-15 hi guys firstly massive thanks for the guide! its exactly what my setup needs and so smooth and fast to run too I was wondering if it was possible to set it put exclusively with Super Favourites. Ive got loads of SF folders already set up with links to streams within add ons. Im guessing this is what the "add folder" feature is for? but i can't seem to get it working (I'm probably doing something wrong!) Is it possible to have the links in my SF folders popup in this window: (2016-07-30, 23:38)primaeval Wrote: when i select a channel within the guide? thanks for your all your work danny RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - primaeval - 2016-08-15 @dannyrobbo The Add Folder command is to add a folder containing addon streams to the internal addons.ini file. The next time you open Stream Setup they should be in the Addons list. That step was what has to be done manually in all other tv guides. It is my secret sauce. The dialog you see above are the matches that are found for your channel from the addons.ini file. This is another secret sauce addition to save a lot of hand editing of xmltv and addons.ini files. There is a setting for the match level: exact, containing, everything. eg If your channel is BBC One exact: matches BBC One containing: matches BBC One, BBC One London etc everything: matches BBC One, BBC 1, BBC1 London etc (numbers are changed to words and vice versa) The Super Favourites button launches the iSearch feature with the name of the show or movie as the search string. Use Spoysers repo to get the latest addon search links. The Meta Search will try to find the show with episode number or movie in Meta4Kodi. You'll have to visit the links on the first post to find out more details. RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - Jeffers24 - 2016-08-15 Just installed from repository using link in OP. All installed OK, no changes made to configuration, but when I run I get an error message, 'Not possible to load program data, because the settings are invalid' :-( What do I need to do? RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - primaeval - 2016-08-15 (2016-08-15, 08:27)Jeffers24 Wrote: Just installed from repository using link in OP. Set up an XMLTV Source in the first 2 Settings. You can find one or make one. If you want to make one try my Webgrab+Plus Configurator but read the instructions very carefully. It can be tricky. http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=285918&pid=2389809 If you want to find one you could start with mc2xml. http://mc2xml.hosterbox.net/ RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - Jeffers24 - 2016-08-15 (2016-08-15, 08:47)primaeval Wrote:(2016-08-15, 08:27)Jeffers24 Wrote: Just installed from repository using link in OP. My misunderstanding, I thought the guide would auto populate from my addons then let me decide which addon source to use when I chose the channel? I will give it a go. RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - Jeffers24 - 2016-08-15 mc2xml did not work for me, Microsoft Legacy option gave me an error I am in the UK, all other options wanted passwords :-) RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - primaeval - 2016-08-15 (2016-08-15, 08:54)Jeffers24 Wrote:(2016-08-15, 08:47)primaeval Wrote:(2016-08-15, 08:27)Jeffers24 Wrote: Just installed from repository using link in OP. There are just too many paths to follow if you have a lot of addons installed, so you have to do a bit of the work yourself. The rest is automated. RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - Varming - 2016-08-15 I'm using the Ruya XL addon (from http://www.ruyatv.co.uk/) but when I link to channel to the addon (with the browse function) it only works for a short period, the next day I have to link to channels again. I think maybe it's because of the way you link the channels to the EPG RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - Jeffers24 - 2016-08-15 Don't mind doing the work, just don't know how to do it :-( |
