I tried to disable MMAL renderer and enable OMXPlayer instead, but it is not better.

Which version are you using? The one that is 'new' is called Evolve: Apple Screensavers and i didn't find anywhere in the code where i changed the subtitles.

Which version are you using? The one that is 'new' is called Evolve: Apple Screensavers and i didn't find anywhere in the code where i changed the subtitles. 

I'm using latest version trough your repo.... probably a Kodi thing than.. Thanks for looking into it!!

just for giggles can you uninstall and go to addon folder be sure it is deleted and in your profile addon data folder and do a clean install?

Alright you should have also gotten a pop up telling you that you need to enable more locations or change your time of day settings. The error because you do not have any videos available based on your preferences. Maybe the location you have enabled don't have any night time videos at least this would be my guess.
