@latts9923 No, none of the layouts will display the discart. I did notice that in Layout 6 if I set it to always show discart it will display a generic disc with the artist logo on it. All other elements in the layouts seem to work fine. I am using an artist that I have verified has discart (as all my local artists do) and again discart works fine on my other instance that is still running 1.0.2.8 but using the MusicVisulization.xml file from 1.0.2.7. Both instance use the same data source for music and images.

Hi! Since the last update there is an issue in music viz: In fullscreen mode I see the artist pictures as ever, but with the furniture background before or behind it. Within the radio add-on the same with the design of the radio station... There is no difference between the layouts.
What happened?

Just checked. Discart isn't showing in music fullscreen: Either not showing anything or showing a blank cd with artist logo on it when Disc Art set to 'Always Visible'.
If set to 'Disc Art - If Available', it just shows the artist logo and album name, no disc whatsoever.

@Chalklands @latts9923 I see that (“artist logo and album name, no disc whatsoever”) in certain layouts as well. I noticed it when I was going thru and testing the layouts. I think it was layout 5. Layout 7 shows nothing.
One other thing to note, and I have no idea if it makes a difference, but I install the updates from the zip file. I don’t let it auto update as it doesn’t work correctly on my Nvidia Shields.

In full screen:
Layout 1, 2, 3, 7, 3D working fine for multi disc albums, single disc albums not showing any disc at all
Layout 4, 5,6 showing either misshaped elongated discart for multiple disc albums or blank disc with just artist logo etc, no disc background with single disc albums.
Also, sorry for bringing this up, but the fanart slideshow isn't working. fanart is showing but fanart1, fanart2 etc is showing mixed up with fanart - fanart is staying on the screen continuously as a permanent background and the other fanarts are being shown on top of that, if that make sense? Can post a picture if you like?
Hope that helps narrowing with this down.

Sorry guys, I won’t be able to test again till tomorrow. I restored the entire MQ Matrix mod addon folder to the working copy (copied from my other Shield that I didn’t update) for my daily 4 - 6 wine/cocktail and music hour…😎
That said, I did not test any multi-disc albums earlier. Honestly I only have a few. But let me know if you do need me to test again tomorrow as I did save away the entire non-working MQ Matrix mod addon folder so can easily restore it for testing.

OK...I have a new fix for the discart when "IF AVAILABLE" is selected. I guess I only tested that with the multi-disc songs. My bad!
Also, @Nickerw...I reproduced a fanart problem when "EXTRAFANART" was enabled for the Music art and "SLIDESHOW" was enabled for music viz.
Download this zip file and copy the xml files.
I also need some beta testing...if you don't mind. I included new xml in the zip for the Showcase view for Movies. I added code to hide the "OPEN CASE" and "OPEN SET AS BOXCASE" buttons if "USE MEDIA CASE" is disabled. I also added some code for the Sets to have the Movie discart roll in from the right one at a time if you have "OPEN CASE" enabled and disable "OPEN SET AS BOXCASE". Can you please verify that this works for you as well? Thanks!

Do I copy these files into 'Userdata'? Or are these just for @Nickerw to test?

These files are for everyone...it should fix the discart and fanart problems in music viz. Close KODI, copy them into the xml folder of the skin, overwrite the existing files and start KODI again to test them.

Something I noticed either after the latest update or the one just before, I'm not seeing live weather updates in the main menu(lower right corner where date+time is). I didn't make any settings changes on my end and just happened to notice that it's not showing up there anymore. I double-checked the settings for date + weather condition is turned on in appearance. Date turns off when toggling setting, but still no weather when toggling back on.
