thank you for fast answer, i will get the debug log. Also I'm not using the pre-eden on your link. Im using the one with HD-bitstream audio.

Also with with the xbmc Dharma some time after count down video it will just exit back to movie screen instead of playing movie.

Well the eden version still works on that, since that is using master branch of the code.

Ahh..I figured it must be something like that...No possible workaround anyone can think of? Like say, immediately black out the screen for 2 seconds when Cinema experience is called until playlist starts playing?
I understand that it's probably not that simple! However between XBMC and CE (which is the most essential addon for show-offy Home theatre goodness) it would be awesome if this one rough edge could be smoothed out.

XBMC is being caused to hang when the trailer downloading starts. If you disable the trailer downloading and the automation, XBMC should not hang anymore. I have posted a bug report to XBMC Trac with this problem.

The only thing I can successfully do with Cinema Experience is play trailers> I would like to do enable the whole addon, which I think is a must have for anyone running XBMC for movies. If anyone can take a look at my debug log I would really appreciate some insight as to my issue. Thanks in advance for your time.

You need to go in and configure Cinema Experience to enable features and point to the folders/ files for audio, ratings, etc. - they're all disabled as far as I can tell from a quick scan:

joeforsale - assuming I'm not telling you something you already know...make use of the entries on the first page of this thread> i foolwed them to the letter first time out and then got all the downloaded material from the pages listed and it works great. Took a while to properly set up but worth it in the end.
This is my favourite addon bar none
Just wish i could find some more adverts etc

apologies if I'm asking a stupid (or indeed repeated) question but from your posts at the start re the bit about cinema experience running. Is this something automated now to stop the buffering dialog or something the skin developers have to go in and take advantage of?
I am one of those people (yes apologies) who would like to see the buffering dialog go for flow reasons.

ahhh may have solved myself. I've just 'updated' from the repository and my version is only 1.0.46. A quick google search and i've now downloaded version 1.0.50. Will give it a test
Nope cant get 50 to run (in MQ3). Have added button under movies, selected pre-eden. On pressing Q it says its been added then does nothing.
In 46 pressing Q ran the movie.
I have 1 feature only option selected
