the GPU hang issue is currently mitigated with the 'Use SW filter' setting; those kernel params don't fix the issue, but Intel devs are actively working on it.

The built in bluetooth doesn't seem to work. If I plug in a dongle it recognizes it but not the built in. As a chromebox, it was operational. Ten minutes later after firmware update and openele install, no bluetooth. Any input/updates/upgrades?

download the OpenELEC Generic x86_64 disk image, unzip, write to USB using Win32diskimager. If you hit ESC more than once, it will auto boot the internal HDD, so don't do that (I'll have to change this in the future). If you're not seeing the 'press ESC' text, your USB stick isn't being recognized, so try another. If you see the 'press ESC' text and you're pressing ESC without it bringing up the boot menu, try anther keyboard.

the use of [CTRL-D] and [CTRL-L] are relevant only with the stock firmware; if you've done a standalone setup, you're running my custom firmware, and those keys have no effect whatsoever on the boot sequence. Regardless, I'm glad you got it sorted and were able to get OE installed.
