Do the streams show up as Green in the "Stream Setup \ Addons" section?

Add the Folder again with the Default method.

Your urls show @plugin instead of just plugin which means use the Alternative Streaming method.
There is something wrong there as it should be able to play it with the Alternative Streaming method but just try the Default for now.

Thanks for the suggestions. Both of the folder from two addons I've been playing around with today are added with the Default method.I don't know if I was clear enough but second error message with the plugins, I get only when previewing the stream under stream setup but not when i play the channel from the guide.(I don't really need to use the preview just thought I'd see if it makes any difference if I play the stream from there)

The streams show up as green when I map them to the channels.

There seems to be something wrong with removing the folder and adding it again. I'll have to have a look later. I know it was working last month.

To get the streams back to the Default method click on each one in "Stream Setup \ Addon" to turn it back to White from Green.
That toggles the Alternative Method.
Let me know if that fixes it.

pm me the url and I'll see if I can see what is wrong. It is usually something like illegal xml or unicode characters.

Apparently I need 10 posts to send a PM, so, i'll fire that off in a sec, since this makes #10 lol
Thanks!

[edit] nevermind, I can't send private messages apparently.
[edit2] finally let me send one, thanks again!

For anyone else having a similar problem:

I think I've found it. They have added programs for channels that they haven't declared.

At the start of the xmltv epg url file there is a list of channels with their ids.
After the channels come the programs. Each program has a channel id which needs to link to the channels.

The first program has a channel id of I17593.labs.zap2it.com but there is no channel with an id of I17593.labs.zap2it.com.

Tell them to sort their xmltv out.

They suggested trying to use xtream editor to correct the listings, and while that works in IPTV for displaying a usable guide, it still fails to import into TVGuideFullscreen.

Since i'm currently in trial phase looking for an IPTV provider, Are there any you might suggest that work well with your guide plugin?
Perhaps other users may be able to suggest something as well?

I'd suggest you shouldn't be discussing such things on the official Kodi forums, given the legalities behind them Smile

Very true. Thanks.

@Griever92 This is the official Kodi forum and we have to respect their rules to not talk about any illegal streams, addons or websites.

It has however been locking up on me recently and i'm not sure if it has to do with changes i made or if its the focus delay you added. Sometimes it locks up as soon as it first loads and you try to navigate, othertimes when I'm quick with the mouse. The log always says i tried a mouse action like 101 or 103. I've been chasing my tail trying to figure it out for 2 weeks and am at the point i have to strip away stuff to find the bug and that's really time consuming. I figured i'd release it as is incase it's just a simple fix or something on my end unique to my setup. Browsing kodi skins i found a few useful commands like turning invisible buttons into toggle buttons with the help label and png built in.

I call it Cake because no one can badmouth cake.

Thanks for sharing the slick skin. I really like the font and the coloring, it's nice and clean.

A few stupid questions, I'm trying to mimic the setup in your screenshot, where the show description and the video window is on bottom of the guide. How do I do this? The EPG Description/Window Flip under settings is just from left to right? (However they don't seem to flip anything for me) Is there a way to access the channels menu in your skin like in the default skin if I press C -> Channels?

RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - myname - 2017-08-06

@Rascals - i tested this in windows so it may be an android problem; are you using android? It should be as easy as popupmenu - settings - Description/Window Flip and then it should have a little notification popup, and it will close and reopen the guide with the new flipped style. It just reads the xml and if it finds a "magic" number (the flip co ordinates) it writes to the xml with a new magic number. The flip co ordinated have a .1 in the end and are marked inside the skin if you want to get your hands dirty. Ill test it more on android regardless. To bring up the context menu (c button) i just do a
right click on a mouse or a long press on the left mouse button. A remote would act the same; long press a button. Now that you mention it i have no idea why c doesn't work as i never used it Smile

@ others - thanks. Sports fixtures seems to work for me in the vod but i have it disabled in the popup menu. If you press the VOD button it brings up vod.xml wich is a mimic of whats in the popup menu. Its more of a template to add your own stuff. I figured everyone has the ability to do the video\tv\music\pvr library so i had them built onto the popupmenu. If anything i would say the pvr is slowing it down, then fixtures if enabled, and then the recently played. In the default skin the vod menu didnt work for me because it had specific xml paths instead of database (library://) paths. Once i fixed it i got on a roll Smile So, theoretically you can delete the entire VOD part from the popupmenu and you would still have everything inside the vod.xml by pressing the VOD button. I assume it doesn't load Vod.xml unless you click on it, i tried to hide "non applicable" things but if they still try to load then defiantly i would disable them in the popupmenu. Based on the log and things different from the default skin i assumed the vod part was causing the lockups but if it freezes when you first open it it's not accessing the popupmenu yet (right?) so i figured it was something else. Besides the unpredictable lockup it is working 100% for me on windows, and is fast.

I think you are probably right if it doesn't launch the vod window at startup unless there is some shortcut that triggers it accidentally.
I think it did in my case.

The thing that I wouldn't be surprised at is if it is something to do with all the $INFO calls in the main xml file.
Some of the VideoPlayer attributes might take a long time to access even if nothing is playing.

It's not something as simple as a hard disk spin-up problem like Blackbear199 was having is it?

There are a lot of potential answers to this problem.

I'm actually using linux but you're probably right, it explains why behaving differently for me. The Description/Window flip activates some animation like the window moving but then it just blinks and remains where it is.The c-button is working ok (bringing up the context menu) but what I couldn't find was the submenu where i activate/deactivate(show/hide) channels.

Maybe I'll get my hands dirty next weekend and see if I can figure out the window positioning. Thanks!

I have accidentally added a wrong stream for alternative streams.
How do I remove an alternative stream, can't see an option for that.
Tried remove stream, but that just removes the default stream

It's probably not in a very intuitive place but I ran out of space to put buttons and I couldn't be arsed to move them all around to add another. Wink

Got my hands dirty and managed to figure out what the problem was, got the flip to occur.
