RE: Arctic Horizon - jurialmunkey - 2020-09-05 (2020-09-05, 04:54)drinfernoo Wrote: I did figure out how to have a non-info widget below a fullscreen widget... Make the second widget a submenu one! Then, neither that one nor the third widget have info. I was going to suggest that but thought you might already know that! Even so, I would love to have a way where the fullscreen widget is only shown when it is in focus -- i.e. scrolling down would force the next widget into the top row rather than the bottom one. Someone suggested this type of setup a few days ago (sorry can't remember who) and since then I've been thinking more and more about just how much I'd love to be able to do that! Why i got empty screen without background (movie picture and info) when i use Showcase Hub for movies menu item? No fullscreen widget set for main menu item and no hub widgets set. See wiki for more details: https://github.com/jurialmunkey/skin.arctic.horizon/wiki/Hubs RE: Arctic Horizon - drinfernoo - 2020-09-05 @jurialmunkey Reading back through the wiki, seems the the submenu popup is now tied to the action that used to let you scroll "backwards" through widgets in vertical mode. This doesn't affect horizontal mode, but is there just no way to do it in vertical mode? Could there possibly be an option to disable the "navigable" submenu popup? I rarely use submenus that way, and it can be a bit distracting to end up in by accident RE: Arctic Horizon - jurialmunkey - 2020-09-06 (2020-09-05, 22:28)drinfernoo Wrote: @jurialmunkey Reading back through the wiki, seems the the submenu popup is now tied to the action that used to let you scroll "backwards" through widgets in vertical mode. With the horizontal layout and associated changes, you've really "done it again" Can't wait to see what comes next! EDIT: I guess it's a new hub RE: Arctic Horizon - drinfernoo - 2020-09-06 Ooh, I like it! Would it be possible to have it mirrored, as in the "Discover" section of TMDbHelper? It seems like that would be "better for the eyes" EDIT: Also, I'm not sure that "Discover" section is working right anymore RE: Arctic Horizon - jurialmunkey - 2020-09-06 (2020-09-06, 05:53)drinfernoo Wrote: Would it be possible to have it mirrored, as in the "Discover" section of TMDbHelper? It seems like that would be "better for the eyes"I was flip-flopping on which way to have it - I originally did have it the other way around for consistency with discover/listview but it felt like the info in the top left was disconnected and forced you to look in two places at once This configuration the info and image are split into two separate sections which forces eye movement Where as this configuration the info text and image are aligned It's not a big deal with discover/lists because the image is just bonus info and the relevant info is actually in the list section on the left, but with the hub the relevant info is the image itself because the list is a separate section -- if that makes sense? I'm still completely on the fence about it though! Both configurations have pros/cons -- I might actually switch it back around for the sake of consistency haha! EDIT: Yep decided to flip it again! I'll see how this goes - I might end up reverting it. Just pushed a quick fix for that. RE: Arctic Horizon - AleksandarLS - 2020-09-06 When i listen online radio station streams, there is no music artwork. Can we expect improvements in this section with more fanarts? RE: Arctic Horizon - scr44tch - 2020-09-07 since a few versions i have a little problem when i put 2 or more widgets on home sometimes they are mixed up, first picture is fine, 1. widget is a autowidget widget 2. is a submenu second picture is mixed up same widgets than before just switched widget possition. only happens if second widget Aspect is set to icon it was working a few versions earlier RE: Arctic Horizon - sito1961 - 2020-09-07 @jurialmunkey In the "normal widgets" the plot of the movie or TV series overlaps with the "clearart". Is this intentional? Attached image. Regards. Is it via an addon or via PVR section?
