RE: Confluence Customizable Mod - Mudislander - 2013-06-17 (2013-06-11, 19:19)cozmo Wrote: @Mudislander Sorry been busy lately, so replies are late Weather forecast widget will happen - I also miss that one, just got to get time to do one. Year in the OSD - will do that one show recent - are you talking about the widget, you could change it to random maybe. Studio logos are a bit of a problem, got to find a natural looking place foe them to fit, also they wack the skin size up a bit plus a lot of the logos floating around the forum do not have properly formatted names. RE: Confluence Customizable Mod - qtipbailey - 2013-06-18 WTH? My Confluence Customizable Mod skin just updated itself to v.1.1.4 and EVERYTHING was different. There were no "Add Ons" entries under any the home menu buttons. The backdrops were all different, such as a camera lens for Pictures, red movie theater seats for Videos or Movies one, some gears for System. What I mean is, when you highlight Pictures home menu button the background changes to a picture of a camera lens. Couldn't re-add Add Ons under the Videos and other home buttons in system settings because the options weren't there in the settings menus. I can't find any reference to a version 1.1.4. Everywhere I look so far has 1.1.2 as the latest version. So did XBMC get confused and thought an update for a similar Confluence Mod applied to my installation of Confluence Customizable Mod and so installed a completely different skin? I rolled back to 1.1.2 from the system menu and everything returned to normal. RE: Confluence Customizable Mod - jmh2002 - 2013-06-18 I had already upgraded to 1.1.3 (via zip file) and took the 1.1.4 upgrade this morning. For me all I needed to do was set backgrounds back to global, and disable the raindrop effect in settings. Everything else is all ok Maybe jumping directly from 1.1.2 to 1.1.4 breaks something? RE: Confluence Customizable Mod - Vimes - 2013-06-18 Doesn't matter RE: Confluence Customizable Mod - Mudislander - 2013-06-18 Bit late but - update v1.1.4 released Few defaults changed, the most noticeable two are "global background" not on by default or on initial install - due to problems when switching from a different skin running a non default theme. shouldn't now get black/blank background as menu items have their own fanart. easy enough to switch back to global - toggle is in backgrounds section. Another change to the default install is menu is now lowered on first install, again you prefer it up just change the setting. All previous options are still avail but may have been moved - You'll have to search Actually if anyone is willing/interested in starting up a wiki page - please go ahead. I wouldn't mind answering questions about the MOD to help. Unfortunately 1.1.4 seems to be problematic on my iPad 1 - When playing streaming video Ram is just steadily eaten away until xbmc closes... Rolling back to 1.1.3 solves the problem for the most part. Above is my original post from a few days ago. You asked for my guisetting.xml so here it is: dont ask why i used xbmclogs, i mustve just gone into autopilot http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=29496 i did a fresh install of xbmc and your skin and still experience the same issue with the videos submenu items. extra info: android 4.1.2, latest nightly apk from the pivos website, xbmc 12.0. RE: Confluence Customizable Mod - Mudislander - 2013-06-18 Actually have just found the bug & was thinking it was strange no one had a problem with video submenus. Will be fixed ASAP RE: Confluence Customizable Mod - thebearnecessit - 2013-06-18 great news, thanks. RE: Confluence Customizable Mod - protocol77 - 2013-06-19 i have a request if possible when i have several shows i want to watch but not straight away i add them to favourites i find this easier and more convenient than using the watch it later feature however on several occasions i have when going to the favourites icon on the main menu pressed the power button by mistake i wanted to see if there is a way to add a main menu button that will bring up the favourites window for me to choose the item i want to play i have looked in the settings and i can add a favourite to the main menu button however it is only a single favourite (like a particular episode or folder) i want it to bring up the list off all the items in my favourites like when you press that little star icon on the desktop but i want to have it on the menu buttons alongside Movies, TV Shows, Music, etc... RE: Confluence Customizable Mod - thebearnecessit - 2013-06-19 protocol, look again in the settings and you'll find it. look in the home screen/main menu (cant remember which one its called. i think you are looking in the submenus section by mistake. RE: Confluence Customizable Mod - protocol77 - 2013-06-19 i have seen the option to add favourites however when clicking on it it just brings up a list of my favourites to choose from and which ever one i select from the list it creates a menu shortcut for that when what i want is a short cut to the list of all the favourites similar to how you can create one for your addons and then when selecting that from the main menu it goes to a page with all your addons listed RE: Confluence Customizable Mod - thebearnecessit - 2013-06-19 my apologies i see what you mean now, i just tried it. I have favourites on my home screen so its do-able. I think the way I did it was to close xbmc and manually open the favourites.xml and add the following line: <favourite name="Favourites">ActivateWindow(Favourites)</favourite> That way when you have an item in your favourites which opens favourites and you can add that item to your home screen. Mudislander, Are you open to requests because I'm new to the skin and its my favourite now so will be sticking with it. There were a few things I wanted to ask you about but the one that i can remember just now is the text size in the movie/tv synopsis. its too small to read on my 32" screen from 2 metres away. so i wondered if you could enlarge it or put an option in the settings to double the size? RE: Confluence Customizable Mod - Mudislander - 2013-06-19 Always open to requests, must admit not all of them happen Under System --> Appearance --> Skin --> Fonts is an option for "Large-Font" Does that help ? @protocol77 - I also thought it was in, but wrong skin. Took it out because of the button - No problem will add it back in to the list of menu items. While I'm there any other menu items to add ? RE: Confluence Customizable Mod - thebearnecessit - 2013-06-19 thanks i'll try the font settings how about... music, files music, addons video addons? update library android apps playlists? video sources? although i think i got that under video nodes and called it "manage library" |
