RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - BigL-New - 2020-03-10 Hi, Since few days I've problems using this add-on on 2 machines with the same error about incorrect password (which is for sure good and used on other computers and mobiles). Could you tell me what's wrong? It was working for many months without problems until this error. Here are logs: ojizozaten.kodi (paste) RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - DoctorBR - 2020-03-10 Thank you very much @CastagnaIT, your add-on is working perfectly well on my Xiaomi Mi Box 3 (MDZ-16-AB). ![]() Please continue to maintain this excellent plug-in. ![]() RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - Essam31 - 2020-03-10 (2020-03-10, 11:39)BigL-New Wrote: Hi,https://github.com/CastagnaIT/plugin.video.netflix/issues/502 RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - josh-r - 2020-03-11 (2020-03-10, 11:07)CastagnaIT Wrote:hi(2020-03-08, 13:43)josh-r Wrote: I installed v1.0.0 on my amazon fire stick 4k device."subtitle is blank", what does that mean to you? What Kodi version? screenshot? subtitle language? please open a Github-Issue here: https://github.com/CastagnaIT/plugin.video.netflix/issues and compile the "Issue" post as described RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - exec555 - 2020-03-11 Hi, im using Kodi (18.6) and this Addon on a Nvidia Shield Pro (2019) and i have a issue with the 4K Stream (16k). Usually it plays fine but sometimes i get framedrops (on a random basis), propably on bad latency to my isp. Im on a 200 MBit link and usually speed and latency are fine, i guess it happens at busy times or when much people are watching the same stream (vodafone has own peering / cache with Netflix). The player doesnt start buffering its just 1 frameskip from time to time. I already tried everything to get this fixed with no luck. CPU is at 30% when playing (no spikes) and the shield is connected over LAN (Gbit link). I already read that this addon is not using the Kodi buffer settings but a internal 8 sek. buffer. Is it possible to get a setting to raise that buffer or to download more chunks in advance? Would this fix that issue? Thanks for this great addon and keep up the good work, very appreciated. RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - Greenie2 - 2020-03-11 I think I have same problem sometimes Kodi 18.6 and 1.0.0. Would the expert buffering setting changes make this better? If you input more than 120min to it? I think it is not in minutes or is it? The slider adjustment is quite hard to use for input values so maybe this could be normal keyboard input value? Other than sometimes freezing and stopping video encryption(sound goes on) the app worls nicely. Just has to stop and replay the video. Have not gotten time to dig into this, but might try to get some logs. ![]() RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - Greenie2 - 2020-03-11 (2020-03-10, 11:39)BigL-New Wrote: Hi, Netflix might have deactivated your password because of they sniffed vpn etc. Try to reset your passwords from normal website using normal internet browser per instructions ![]() RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - Greenie2 - 2020-03-11 (2020-03-11, 16:53)exec555 Wrote: Hi, How about the min, bits/sec setting from video adaptive settings? Could this work if the line goes south for some seconds? I have this now set for 3mb/s but will try bigger value and see what happens.. I read this quote thru again and so the comment about the buffer settings is not valid if that value is not used anywhere? If the min bits/s works shouldnt this stop buffering until the line is back on and only stop the decoding for a moment and not mess up sound/video sync etc. I think this is netflix end thing and they cut the video ttansmission on porpose randomly so more than 8sec buffer is needed ![]() RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - Greenie2 - 2020-03-11 PS: How can I edit the posts? ![]() One idea.. If the buffer is hard to code then one possibility could be to try to sniff when video feed is dropping from Netflix stream and make a manual value to stop/pause the whole decryption process for given seconds in the settings ( If Netflix changes the dropout time it would be user configurable). This way maybe only the feed/video would halt for some secs, but you would not need to stop and reload the video again to get back sync? Just an quick dirty fix if the video adaptive can do this? I would not mind a few sec pause randomly if it continues by itself, untill the buffer thing can be fixed. RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - DarrenHill - 2020-03-12 Your account is too new and doesn't have enough posts yet to have editting privs enabled. It's a generic anti-spam measure across the board. RE: Netflix Add-on [input-stream] - exec555 - 2020-03-12 I guess you are heading the worng direction here. The min. bits/sec setting is for stream selection (to not use a lower stream than what you set it up to). Also this is not about sync issues but about random framedrops, and why would Netflix cut the bandwidth on purpose? That just doesnt make sense... A few sec. pause also shouldnt be a feature / fix to counter framedrops dont you think?
