Yes got toolbox installed from Kodi repo

when in dialogvideoinfo if you  move down you can see a blank section before seeing the actors. I don't know if this is normal behavior.

Cast and other lists are actually in a completely separate dialog, so it's just the timing of the transition animation when dialogvideoinfo hides and infolist dialog becomes visible.

Unless you're talking about something other than the transition animation?

Has that always been the case? It seems like in recent updates there's just a wide open space where cast would've been before.
No they used to all be in the video info dialog. I split them into a separate dialog so they only load if you specifically attempt to use them. It's to help with the performance issues that used to exist when online lists were enabled.

I believe it started with the change in dialogvideoinfo. Current version shows overview when you open dialogvideoinfo and before it was an option. Prior versions showed actors when you opened dialogvideoinfo

what does toolbox do?

If I'm not mistaken, it helps handle those "time-based" things, like background slideshow and auto-scrolling widgets. It may also affect OSD closing, but I'm not sure.

Nah, it's just used to create a few select dialogs - it provides some basic ways for a skin to use the xbmcgui.Dialog() python module. It isn't needed for anything beyond that.

Nope, working fine for me.

Have you changed language settings since you set the setting and/or use profiles? The setting is a localized string so if you changed language you'll need to set it again -- and profiles in general have an issue with strings not loading.

Also note that pressing info opens DialogFullScreenInfo.xml which is not the same as pressing up from the controls in VideoOSD.xml (even though I've made it so that both ways look the same). Autoclose OSD option will only close the VideoOSD - if you pressed info on remote the info section will stay open and only the controls will close.

Ah, so it's just to open the dialog to choose the timings Big Grin Makes sense!

Btw. @jurialmunkey can you at least please provide an empty DialogFullScreenInfo.xml with your Kodi skins? Without it, the default keyboard mapping doesn't work as expected. You can still open the video osd with "i", but it doesn't get closed with "escape" or "backspace". Instead your landing on the homescreen.

You can close it by pressing info again - on all my systems that works with default keymap.

It causes a worse problem when included. Press OK to open controls, then press info, then press back. The controls close but the info remains on-screen and there is now no possible way to close the info other than to exit fullscreen.

It also prevents seeking with direction keys whilst info is visible (which is something I do frequently). By not including it, the behaviour of the music visualisation can be replicated where it is possible to press info to keep the info on-screen without preventing interaction with the playing video.

Nope I just press pause button and not info.

It doesn't hide the seekbar if paused. It only closes the controls in video osd.

RE: Arctic Horizon - 91design - 2020-09-12

Is it possible to use clearlogos instead of clearart with the poster view?
Thank you 😁

Would prefer this as well.

RE: Arctic Horizon - Edworld - 2020-09-13

I posted this in the wrong thread.

In dialogvideoinfo, when I click on an actor/actress it no longer brings up the bio. Is there a setting I need to change to see the bio?

Thanks

That did the trick!
