Hello!
I post again some suspicious parts of the log file to get a solution for the bug that disables the video thumbnail extraction in Video->File view. Here's a screenshot from the problem:
https://imgur.com/dXKUgmC -> So when I enter a Video folder of a newly downloaded video, there's no extracted preview thumbnail, just the default film rail thumb on the left down corner. Only when I start a video and then exit back to the GUI appears the thumbnail as it should.

I have also posted the issue on github and for Helly1206 in e-mail, but no replies so far.
I have also noticed that the last update on github was on 4 months ago. Does that mean that the development and the support of Xfluence has been stopped?

Is there a way to export my settings ,smart lists etc' to a new build?
I tried using the "Backup" addon but the build was lacking (no smart lists, home screen stayed with default buttons etc')

Great skin , been using for a long time , but have always wondered in Skin Settings ,why there are 15 Home Menu items and 15 Submenus choices , but only 12 add-on Shortcuts ,

Hi all,
I'm glad to release the first version of Xonfluence for Leia. This skin is tested on Leia alpha 1. It has a version update to 3.4.0. The repo is also updated, so you should be able to install it from the hellyrepo.
See 'the first post' for details on how to install the skin, either as zip or from the repo.

First of all, I really like your Skin Helly!
I stuck an long time at Jarvis, because of my strong individual customized setup. Now I got in some tearing trouble with the videoplayer and I must find a way to upgrade my system.
Finally I upgrade from Jarvis to Krypton just to notice that my heavy customized Confluence Mod Skin doesnt work anymore.
After a long way of try and error I stuck ad Xonfluence as it was the nearest Bulid to reconstruct my old skin.
Unfortunately I didnt managed to get customized icons and fanart for genres, years and lands.
It is very dissapointing for me to see these ugly "blue folder"-Icons where my custom icons should be in a stylish designed workaround
I know the technic was changed from "media"-Folder to a usage of addons, but I didnt find a way in the settings to use this addons (see here: https://kodi.wiki/view/Category:GUI_image_add-ons)
So please can you tell me a way to use these addons or better, how to use icons and fanarts storaged in (...)/skin/media/moviegenreicon (for example)?
It would be really kindfull to show me a way!

Is there a way to set assign wallpaper or background to playlists?
I've replaced all the standard menu items with a combination of video nodes and playlists and I would like to be able to do a variety of backgrounds in these views.

I like the Kodi startup splash movie - great that it is now on Krypton 17. Your contribution to the community is greatly appreciated. But I have a question for you or any readers/members out there. I would like to be able to launch a Windows program from the main menu. In Settings in v17 /Home Menu Items/ it is Menu item number 11 that I wish to change.
Wanting to name my own main menu item and direct it (through Kodi command??) to a Windows executable.
Also when that custom menu item is hovered over - it is possible to then load a particular background image?
OK I confess it is for LaunchBox. The LB community has made available a Kodi Add On which makes LaunchBox sit under the Programs submenu but this is not desirable. I much prefer as some have asked for it to be a main menu item - thus my question. Still the question is applicable to be able to run any Windows executable in the foreground from the main Kodi menu.

In this way I manage a fully homeautomation and Apache-Server handling and a game startup for PC-Games and emulation.
