For osd showing next programme info, this is already possible (and you can also scroll through). You need to bind a button/key to
ActivateWindow(pvrchannelguide)
By default, this is bound to the "G" key on keyboard.
Keymap Editor add-on makes it really easy to bind commands to your remote:
https://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Keymap_Editor

Ah, interesting that you’re not affected by this double-up issue. It’s a known issue in the uk using Freeview OTA grabbers and DVB-T tuners with tvheadend. Really appreciate you offering to take a look at this. Not expecting miracles though!

I had no idea the pvrchannelguide view existed...great that it lets you scroll though upcoming programmes. Can I ask why this functionality isn’t implemented in the default osd rather than having to access a separate window? Would love to see this (without the column of channel icons), retaining the minimalist feel.

I also noticed it’s not possible to access information on a programme that’s up next (on a different channel to the one I’m watching) using pvrchannelguide. That would be really useful if technically possible. Thanks.
For instance I would love it if it were possible to have pressing up/down to bring up the osd channel view to scroll through available channels and then press left/right to scroll through the epg for that channel - but I don't know of any way to achieve this in the skinning engine alone...

That's exactly the setup I would like to see happen! Shame it's not possible, but interesting to know it's a limitation of Kodi rather than a particular skin. Appreciate the explanation.

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - Comma - 2019-06-24

I have gone through the process of updating the media flags mostly dolby and dts are new from web the rest are from other skins with better quality, if it has any interest at all I'll be more than happy to share them (hope they could get in the skin) it's just copy/paste the flag folder.

With Tinymediamanager add a 18+/adult or an appropriate tag for those you don't want to show up(can bulk edit). Then make a smartplaylist that tag>doesn't contain. Use this Smartplaylist as the menu content and also for the widget content. Hope this helps you.
Thanks!
So, I could also add a tag containing my daughters name for example, or something like "suited for children" and set the smart playlist to only display those. (So a "yes-filter" instead of a "no-filter"). Could this be time triggered too? I.e. in the morning and afternoon only filtered ones and in the evening and night all movies.
Time triggered thing I doubt so, but you can always filter the not suitable stuff into a playlist and dig it deeper in an submenu. Which I guess is less reachable. Also you can make all the adult-friendly stuffe
omitted from all the playlist and if you wanna watch you can search and watch it. Make sure you don't use the default widgets like spotlight or in progress(you can make custom lists similar to them though) hope this make sense.

Adult-friendly hahaha ;-) It's just about things like Rocky, Indiana Jones, Apocalypse Now or The Hangover ;-)

When I'm finished finding out how to upgrade my LibreElec, I'll dig further into this. Thanks for your help.

Could you please share these, btw the coloured rating icons can be changed in a similar manner? Thanks

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - cerealkillers - 2019-06-24

One teeny feature from A:Z I miss in A:Z2 is the 'time this video will finish' in the top right when paused.  I just wanted to check I'm not missing a setting somewhere that I can turn it on.

It's not a big thing so no big loss if not.  Apologies if this has already been asked - I searched but ya know... long thread and vague search terms.  Thanks for the beautiful skin Big Grin

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - cerealkillers - 2019-06-24

Nevermind.  Found it.  For anyone else looking, it's not on the normal pause OSD any more but all you've gotta do is hit the Info button and it's bottom center.  Also noticed this github issue: https://github.com/jurialmunkey/skin.arctic.zephyr.2/issues/52

Sure, unpack and replace the folder "monochrome" located in "addons>skin.arctic.zephyr.2>media>flags>monochrome", keep in mind it will be deleted when jurialmonkey release updates for the skin so you will need to do it again if you still want them.

I notice in your screenshot the film certification is displayed as ‘Rated 15’. Did AZ2 create that text or is that exactly how it’s written in your nfo? My nfo is written as UK:15 (via tinymediamanager), and AZ2 displays this exactly as it’s written. Thanks.

That's just because I have the certification set to Denmark in the scraper settings.

In your quest for icons, have you come across bafta and golden globes that are similar to the oscars one you found?

Installed the flags, working great. Thanks for that mate. BTW noticed that IMDB ICON shows in colour now, but all the other rating icons metacritic, RT and stuff gone missing since. Dunno why.

I just installed the images and I have no worries for the Oscars, IMDB, MVDB, Metacritic...

@jurialmunkey,

Yesterday I updated Leia to 18.2 and reinstalled AZ2. Unfortunately I can't select the many various view modes you designed.
Only the useless 'square wall', 'icon wall' and list are available.

In Kodi's default skin the multiple view modes are working fine.

Any idea what causes this?

No haven't looked either are the skins able show them?
