Three requests, in case you consider including them in your great skin.

1. Many movies and TV series do not have "clearart". For this reason, a zone with no content appears on the screen:
Could it be a "default" image covering that empty hole?
Could it be chosen by the user?

2. Assuming your plugin "TheMovieDB Helper" supports it:
Could IMDB's TOP250 be added to the ratings?

3. In the video information window when focusing on the actor / actress:
Could it be seen in a larger size?

Thank you very much again for your great work.
Greetings.

1. Good idea. Been a bit busy lately, but I'll look at implementing this when I have some time.
2. It was working but it looks like it stopped recently. I'm currently rewriting TMDbHelper, so I will be sure to fix this in the upcoming (re)release.
3. Big poster is always the poster for the base movie/show - otherwise there is no way to know what the lists are based off. Plus the dialog with the lists is actually a separate dialog on top of the main info dialog where the big poster is - so it makes it very difficult to change the big poster based on the item in the list.
Thank you very much for taking my requests into consideration.
Regarding the actor / actress, do you think of any ideas to enlarge the image that are not difficult to code?
Good luck rewriting TMDbHelper.
Greetings.

Was having a play with this idea earlier today and I'm not sure why I thought it looked bad when I tried it out previously - maybe I only tested it with blur or didn't have the shadow line enabled. With blur or overlay background it looks a bit average, but with the vignette background the opaque divider with the shadow looks quite nice! I've added an option on latest github master.

How can i enable this fanart in background?
it's very nice..

In skin settings (appearance):
1- Activate the fanart.
2- In background style select "vignette".
3- In divider style select "opaque"

You must have skin version 0.5.47 installed (you can get it from GitHub)

Yes. From there you can always get the latest version of the skin.
Usually the user "drinfernoo" tends to quickly put the new versions in the repository.

The background will show the fanart you downloaded / selected when the movie was scratched.
If you don't like the fanart you currently have, you can change it in a number of ways. Perhaps the best way is using the "Artwork Beef" addon.
You can see information here.

RE: Arctic Horizon - VelimirSaban - 2020-10-08

Hi,

I finally found my forever skin, this i really amazing work! I am so happy with it that I will try to find "Donate" button somewhere so you can have a beer on me today Smile
I managed to sort all the little things by myself, like ratings and stuff, but need help finding the option which will let me set "Pause" during the Movie with no OSD whatsoever. Is there an option to see only the paused frame without any info on the screen. Tried with "Autoclose OSD" option but it does not work, it just stays with info whole the time. This is very useful option for me if I want to take a picture of some movie scene.
The second question is about updating the skin. Is there a way to automate the proces without manual downloading from the GitHub? I am relatively new to the KODI so don't know how this stuff works.

Thank you for your amazing work!

RE: Arctic Horizon - FXB78 - 2020-10-08

@VelimirSaban To have it auto-update you just need to install the jurialmunkey repo --> https://jurialmunkey.github.io/repository.jurialmunkey/repository.jurialmunkey-1.4-leia.zip

Actually, i was using Artwork beef..
Can you tell me at least one way to change the background fanart?
then I'll patiently read the artwork beef thread ..

I do not know the level of knowledge you have of Kodi. I indicate two ways to change the fanart (I use them). Perhaps other users can point you to other better ways.

1- MANUAL FORM
If you have exported your library (Settings-Content settings-Export video collection-Separate files), you will notice that in the movie folder on your hard drive, among other files, one "movie name-fanart.jpg" appears.
   - If you do not like the one you have, you can manually download another one that you find at https://www.themoviedb.org/, https://fanart.tv/ or any other website.
   - Rename the downloaded image with the same name as the one you already had and place it in the same folder.
   - On Kodi, go to the movie information, "click" on the "manage" button - Select art (Kodi) - "click" on "Fanart" - Find ... - * Item folder - and select the new one downloaded image.

Note: Kodi sometimes takes a few hours to update the new image (be patient).

2- USING "ARTWORK BEEF" (You must have it installed)

   - On Kodi, go to movie information - "click" on the "manage" button - Select art (Artwork Beef / manual) - "click" on Fanart
   - Choose the new image you want and Ok.

In both cases (not always necessary), restarting Kodi helps the new image load.
I hope I have helped!!

RE: Arctic Horizon - daking1512 - 2020-10-09

I've been looking everywhere in the skin settings, maybe im oblivious, but if youre using a remote (not a keyboard) how can you go back to a video that is playing in the background? using a keyboard on my computer I would use TAB to go back to the video playing in the background, but thats not possible using a remote

is there a custom command I can put a shortcut for in the power pop-up menu?

Easiest way is to map a key to TAB/Full Screen, that's what I do. You could easily achieve it using the Keymap Editor addon.

Alternatively, if you keep pressing Back it will eventually go back to the video.
