I'm all ready on the other az mod, but i wanted to try this one. Are there any big issues on Android with kodi 16? I'm at 15.2 and that works fine

I use it on linux, i don't know if it is working on android correctly. On linux i have no issues with jarvis nightly (09.11.15)

I'm on kodi 16 now and still can't install it (addons - install from zipp file). Error is:

Can't install from zip file

@R-L77

That's strange you have a problem loading. I am running Jarvis Alpha 4 on android and the skin installs just fine. You could unzip the file and then manually drop the folder in you addon directory. That usually works as well.

I noticed issues with kodi 16 on Android, so will restore my 15.2 and wait for a more stable release

Edit: also a small feature from the original skin is missing here-- when watching internet streams, the seek bar in the osd would show how much was buffered (coloured pink by default). Really useful for web content

I have both of these problems as well.

I use several profiles and they are unable to have separate skin settings. I like the featured style home screen and my other profiles use the classic but now whatever settings I choose for one is applied to all.

Are you using multiple profiles? Each profile should have it's own settings.xml, no idea why it isn't saving the highlight color. If it is a profile issue not much I can do I'm afraid, Kodi handles profiles.

I changed the buffered color to blue. There should be a white marker between where you're currently at and the buffered amount. Do you not see the white marker? Will test when I get a chance.

Very weird.

I'm guessing braz made changed since then and has accidentally changed it back
I definitely didn't change anything back, the skin must not be installed correctly on your system. How do you install it? Can you check and see if you have multiple copies of the skin in your addons folder?

See first post for how I recommend installing the skin.

I don't use profiles, but I noticed the same thing when testing with Mimic. Does this not happen when using other skins with profiles? Not sure why each profile doesn't respect its own settings since they should each have their own settings.xml. As far as I can tell this is a Kodi issue.

Yeah it's really weird....

I download your skin from git, delete the Addon, then delete the addon data as if to start fresh. Unzip the download to the addons folder and reboot. Skin loads, but widgets flicker and there's no option for episode thumbs.

I dunno what's going on... Very strange

Edit: can you download fresh from git and try as above? I've done this 6 times and redownloaded 4 times same result every time

Definitely not a skin issue. Noticed this change in behaviour when upgrading to Jarvis and it only behaves like this in Jarvis. Could be Kodi or could be related to skin shortcuts addon as dialog for skin shortcuts appears whenever you change skin menu settings in one profile and then switch profiles using the same skin.

Ive just resigned myself to using different skins for each profile to save configuring the skin every time.

Ok, good to know. I guess using alpha software has it's drawbacks lol.

It's definitely the skin... I've just tried in on my windows desktop and it's acting exactly the same. Widgets are refreshing or 'flickering' every time I scroll the home menu items and the only options in widgets are - Landscape, Square or Poster.

I've never touched the profiles feature, but others are saying it's a Jarvis issue. How easy would it be for me to change it in the XML directly for the timebeing?

The entire bar is blue (except for a small white bit at the end), and it only represents the current point in the stream. Original A:Z works fine, can be tested easily with Youtube addon.

Are you running Jarvis? Got the two addons in the first post in this thread? Those are exactly the problems I had before the commit, which solved both. I'm not sure it's a skin issue

RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - loggio - 2015-11-13

yes... I've just deleted all skin shortcuts and skin helper and actic braz and redownloaded everything minutes ago same issue latest nightly Jarvis.
It's happening on every machine I try it on. Openelec, Windows, Mac... All same. all latest nightly, all up to date addons.

Can't replicate it here. Post a video if you can, I'm curious to see what it's doing.

I just intalled Kodi with the skin/addons in a clean Windows 8 VM, and it works, gotta be something wrong with your setup. Clean browser cache?

Edit: think there has been some miscommunication, the "landscape" setting is the setting that now shows thumbnails. It previously showed fanart
