hi all i installed Kodi 18 version and using stream rather then download but whenever it starts it gets frozen on loading screen and I cant exit the screensaver. Have to reboot.

@Nekromantik I looked at your log. Issue is there is a bad request to apples servers. We are seeing this with android devices and from what I see your using this os: LibreELEC (official): 9.2.1 (kernel: Linux 5.1.16) I think both of you are on LibreElec so maybe they are having the same issue as android and sending out a bad header request. This is something that is builtin to Kodi and I have no way of fixing. Maybe try a Windows pc to download the videos then point the addon to them. BTW if you do this you will have to download the video through the addon so the naming is kept for metadata.

So the interesting part is, when I tried to load up the link I saw in my log on my windows desktop machine, it was not a good link. I'm actually trying to run this on my Vero 4K+ which runs OSMC. Latest version which has Kodi 18.6.
How do I get a list of all the files on apples servers or more specifically all the links to those files?

This is from a Intel NUC running LE. its linux based.

Got it to work. If I use this copy it runs properly. https://github.com/EvolveEcosystem/repository.evolve/raw/master/screensaver.evolve.aerial/screensaver.evolve.aerial-1.0.11.zip
I was using the copy installed through your repository and that one does not work.
Played around with it some more. Manually installing from zip version 1.0.11 works perfectly. Only "bug" i found is that I get a black screen (ie the video stops but no gui) when I hit Esc key but hitting backspace kills screensaver and takes you back to the GUI. (EDIT: this occurs when i was running it on my Vero4k with OSMC/Kodi .. while on windows both Esc & back space work fine)
Installing v1.0.13 from the respository (which strangely has an older build date) does not work.

Glad you got a version running since you say it is the first version the "Aerial" then I guess your using k18 the second "apple" is for k19 and the only one i will support to much changed for me to keep them both working.
Also if you dig hard enough you can find all the links but i will not distribute directly to aggravating to track down.

So, now this only works on Kodi 19 now? Bummer. So many addons are not compatible with Kodi 19 yet, so it will be a while before I use Kodi 19. The older Aerial Apple TV Screensavers still works fine, so it def just an issue with this Evolve version.

Yeah. I got mine to work by NOT using the repo copy but by using the links from the first post to the actual zip files.

I know it is a pain and some what confusing but it really is no way to support both k18 and k19 in the same version without a lot of extras work arounds that i just don't want to have to deal with that may break at anytime.

No, thats cool. I know its tough, especially with K18 and K19 having differing versions of python.
