I can't seem to locate where to turn off Shorts! like in previous version, has this been removed or am I just not seeing where to turn off?

It's now at:- Settings > General > Hide videos from listings:

Highlight all the formats you *DON'T* want, then remember to hit the OK at bottom of window to save.

When you upload it and click on the save icon, the URL will change to end with a code.
You need to post that new URL here.

No, but you might try deleting your userdata settings.xml and let the wizard build a new one for you.  I've found in the past glitchiness due to leftover setting entries after updating.

That issue with the Setup Wizard is isolated to old development versions of Kodi v21 that had a bug with properly saving plugin settings.

The bug was fixed after Kodi v21 Alpha 1, so you will either need to downgrade to Kodi v20 or a newer version of Kodi v21.

It is an issue associated with attempts to resolve some power saving issues on Android. The local http server is shutting down, and was not restarting some times. Should be fixed in more recent versions available on GitHub.
(2024-05-16, 13:28)falk42 Wrote: Same here, AV1 is used in the browser if set to be preferred, but not with the YouTube addon v7.0.6 running on Kodi 21 for WebOS. The TV (LG C2) supports AV1 decoding and other Kodi addons use the codec, so I'm wondering if this is perhaps a general issue?

The Android client is no longer used by default, so availability of AV1 streams is not as consistent in newer version. You can try and change the alternate client details in the advanced plugin settings, but the issue won't be properly resolved until the functionality to use the web client is restored.

You will need to be more specific. Is it working or not? What exact version are you trying to use? As previously explained, the issue you are encountering is specific to very early pre-Alpha 1 versions of Kodi 21.
