I like the now playing music screen with the scrolling info. Is there a setting to let it remain onscreen and not disappear after 5 secs? I've used a custom fullscreenmusic.xml file for AZ2 and other skins but if you have a setting that saves me some hassle.

Image
Just press I (info) and it will remember the setting and leave the info screen open permanently, even after a reboot.

I started setting up AH this week and it's looking good and pretty fast. Somehow I lost the AH initializing screen (the one with the mountain wallpaper) it comes on like 2sec than gone.
How do I get back to the loading AH window and stay there until I select a menu item.

Thanks
Did you set a startup video/playlist in skin settings by chance? If you have set something there it will override the loading screen.

Yeah this is what I do myself also. Never had any issue with it not staying on.

RE: Arctic Horizon - RedRanger - 2020-11-08

Could I get the Highlight/Gradient color codes for the Aqua and Sunset themes? I would like to experiment with other colors, but I'd like the option to return to the default in case I don't like my results. Thanks!

Don't think I did, only have menu pointing to trakt list. If you can tell me where to look, I google "startup video/playlist" and something like party mode showed up I don't have anything like that.

RE: Arctic Horizon - AnthraxLeprosyPi - 2020-11-10

Hi everybody,

it's been a very long time that I even thought about trying a new skin after having been using Eminence 2.0 MOD for years but, WOW what a smooth professional look this skin conjures up on my TV!!!

I can't wait to see the finished product.

A few things I notiiced (I'm on the Vero 4k+ which should be plenty powerful):
1 - wigdets seem to be reloading at random and I'm more often than not presented with the wait-spinners (this might be due to constant tinkering with the settings though ;-))
2 - Compared to Eminence 2.0 MOD the PVR startup takes forever and I'm not sure why (did a full reinstall before using "AH", does anybody know how to change the startup order of Addons?)
3 - When pressing the play button from within the info screen it sometimes takes minutes (!) and mostly about 20-30 seconds until the playback finally starts. On the other hand when starting the same movie from the home-screen widgets via context menu they play way, way faster. I tried, but couldn't find any hints in the logs (might dig a bit deeper/longer though) - any ideas?

Anyways this is a joy to use and look at so far!!!

best regard
Anthrax

Did Up Next stop working with this skin for anyone else? It had been flawless until recently, but now I just get a notification saying "Playlist: Can't find a next item to play"

Ok, I'll give this a try.

RE: Arctic Horizon - truthlesshero - 2020-11-12

Hey everyone

I installed the skin as per the first post, I installed the two add-ons via zip from Github (along with the skin itself). I can't get any ratings to show for the movies, other than tmdb's. I have universal movie scraper, I entered my omdb api in tmdb as per the instructions and nothing loads from it. Just the basic non omdb stuff.

Ive tested my omdb api through omdb's website (by making a query through a movie) and I do get a result (api is working and not above limit). I've tried refreshing any movie's info, I've tried deleting the movie from the library and rescanning to add it, etc.. I've tried multiple movies. Nothing comes back.

This may or may not be skin related as it seems that nothing is coming back from omdb or the rotten tomatoes ratings for the last 3-4weeks for me.. So i'm at a loss. I'm hoping someone here can help as this is by far my favourite feature from kodi Sad.. And especially this skin!

Edit:wow... A few minutes after posting this, they started showing up in the "information" tab.. But they don't show up on the main list/screen. Is there any way for them to show up there instead?

RE: Arctic Horizon - Fenderman - 2020-11-13

In certain views I have some borders which seem to be out of place.
I think this might be a bug.

On Poster Row:
A light grey boarder, maybe 20 pixels in width on the left side

On TV view when pressing Info.
It is black translucent showing infos and channel name, except a aprox. 20 pixel wide border arround it showing the clear TV image
Same happens with all these translucent black overlays. They have a clear "frame" which shows the image in the background without the black overlay

I hope my description is goo enough.

Thanks for helping!

RE: Arctic Horizon - C0nvert - 2020-11-14

Hello Guys,
Idk how to explain it properly, but is it possible to add Titles under the Icon for the Poster Row View Type.
For Music you have a View Type wich Shows the Album Cover and the Title below it.
Is it possible to do the same for Video Addons?

This is the Music example
Image

And if i set the View Type for A Video Addon to Landscape List it will look like this:

If i'm changing it to Poster Row (wich looks pretty sick btw Big Grin), i get this:

Is it possible to do the same kind of View Type for Picture 3 (Video Addon) like Picture (Music)?

I hope you understand what i mean Big Grin

RE: Arctic Horizon - MrSeb - 2020-11-14

No it's not possible, Music uses Square boxes to match the Album Cover dimensions, Posters wouldn't fit into this view without leaving blank sections on both sides.
