RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - pibtt - 2015-09-17 (2015-09-17, 00:33)bluethor Wrote:(2015-09-16, 22:22)pibtt Wrote: I'm not logged in. I don't evan have a youtube accountthis add-on requires for you to have an account, I believe It works just fine without one the only problem is that the video list isn't updated. RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - fieryroller - 2015-09-17 Hi, youtube-addon crashes when I try to run it. database is locked? Code: 11:00:42 T:140466691729152 NOTICE: -->Python Interpreter Initialized<-- How can I fix this? I have tried reboot and re-install the plugin, without success. Thanks in advance for any advice! RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - Thomas Korimort - 2015-09-17 There is a well knwon bug which seems also to be the reason why for me YouTube is not working: https://gist.github.com/aerickson/f15133a7e56b2d7f27e3 . I looked in my Kodi.log file and it said that SSL error(35) happened from curl. This problem is a known incompatibility. more recent version of curl disables the RC4 cypher for SSL, which is needed by YouTube. I am now trying to fix that by editing the Phyton code for the YouTube plugin.... RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - rodalpho - 2015-09-18 I'm still frequently running out of quota on searches. This now happens every day, usually starting around 9PM or so. RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - XBMC12 - 2015-09-19 Today (06:10 AM) when trying to search on YT error occurred Daily Limit Exceeded or Request cannot be completed... : Code: 06:14:21 T:152 ERROR: XFILE::CDirectory::GetDirectory - Error getting plugin://plugin.video.youtube/kodion/search/query/?q=vocoder RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - nickr - 2015-09-19 @XBMC12 have you read this whole thread? RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - Thomas Korimort - 2015-09-19 @nickr: this thread has 158 pages, that cannot be viewed so easily RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - nickr - 2015-09-19 So that means someone has to repeat what has already been posted? Thats not how it works sorry. The thread has a search feature too you know. RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - User 290223 - 2015-09-19 I had problems where my Kodi DLNA client function would stop working. I originally thought it was something to do with OSMC so I posted on their forums. You can see my original thread on the following link: https://discourse.osmc.tv/t/upnp-dlna-not-working/8020 TLDR: I came to conclusion that Youtube addon is causing problems, where after playing any video, and later restarting my Raspberry PI, .kodi/userdata/Database/Addons19.db would somehow get corrupted and DLNA would stop working. Only solution I found so far, is to remove that Addons19.db and restart Raspberry Pi again. But that solution is only temporary, because if I play any video on youtube again, Addons19.db will get corrupted again. Using: Raspberry Pi 2, OSMC v.2015.08.1, Kodi v.15.1, Youtube v.5.1.8 RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - XBMC12 - 2015-09-19 (2015-09-19, 07:39)nickr Wrote: @XBMC12 have you read this whole thread? No, because thread have 158 pages but after update plugin to 5.1.8 working again search function even without logging on YT :-). I did it like this:
RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - wheemer - 2015-09-20 Popular right now throws a content error... not working RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - rodalpho - 2015-09-21 I find when I get one of those very frequent errors, re-trying usually works. Bromix is out recovering from surgery right now, and health always comes first. All we can do is hope he feels better soon! RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - Angry Gorilla - 2015-09-21 That's really sad that Bromix is having personal problems, but it's also kind of sad that only one guy takes care of youtube addon, I mean what will happen one day when Bromix is no longer available? RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - bromix - 2015-09-21 Version 5.1.9 (2015-09-21) [add] Hebrew (thx 2 smoky-jr) [upd] don't set default season and episodes (1x1) [upd] another try to optimize the quota problem. Move all searches to the individual keys instead of one global [fix] playback issues (skip discontinued video/format by YouTube) RE: YouTube v5.X.X - KODI 14.X Helix - bromix - 2015-09-21 (2015-09-10, 23:35)Eriol Wrote: I don't know if I'm alone in missing a "mark as watched" entry in the YouTube add-on contextmenu, but it would make it more consistent with the Kodi Video Library contextmenu. I find it very useful to mark videos in subscribed channels as "watched" so they can be hidden. The argument for that would really be the same as for the Kodi Video Library. If someone can point me to a buildin function of KODI. Would be nice if this would be solved in CORE (if it makes any sense for streaming). |
