RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - primaeval - 2018-03-19 0.0.383 - Settings \ Playback \ Always Choose Channel This will ignore the Alternative Streams and ask you to choose a channel every single annoying time if you really want it to. The logic in there is getting a bit complicated. Let me know if anything breaks for you. RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - M89SE - 2018-03-19 Thank you for your answer, I'm pretty sure with the textures, I believe it's this extra layer so it would not flash that makes trouble, I will check it out. Maybe I will be able to correct it in gui.py. Sometimes you have to uninstall the repo and reinstall it to get kodi to pick up the latest version. RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - MB32 - 2018-03-20 Tried again and failed. Kind of puzzled here — shouldnt this network path be valid? Gives me an error. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/primaeval/repository.primaeval/master/krypton/ update: never mind, I can browse the repo in kodi after rebooting RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - mzup - 2018-03-20 I have this installed and set up just the way i want and love it. All is working good except one quirk. I set the channels per page to 9 and after going in and out of it or going to something else and then back to the guide it changes back to 10. I thought I was doing something wrong by not clicking OK after making the change, but it keeps reverting back to 10 channels per page. Any way to fix this? Github doesn't do directory listings so you can't add it into Kodi in the File Manager like you can with some other repos. Sometimes if you are impatient and click on TVGF a couple of times it can open up the program more than once and gets confused about channels. What skin are you using and which kodi version and device? Is the setting actually getting written to: Code: userdata\addon_data\script.tvguide.fullscreen\settings.xml Code: <setting id="channels.per.page">9</setting> RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - MB32 - 2018-03-20 primaeval Wrote:You have to manually install the repo zip to get the latest update of TVGF.I did, but when I tried to add something from the repo, I got the round spinning wait cursor and Kodi became unresponsive, as if it could not fetch anything from the web. I'm glad it's working for you again anyway. RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - MB32 - 2018-03-20 What I'm trying to do here is build a custom channel lineup with EPG data from U.S. sources. I only need about a half dozen channels and dont want to download a massive amount of data. So I found 4 providers of free EPG data which cover all of the U.S. channels -- but it looks like API access is restricted, so I have to use some kind of web grabber. Dish and DirectTV dont allow custom lineups, but Zap2it and TitanTV can be tailored to your needs, so you only see the EPG data you want in the web interface. That customization could make it a little bit easier if you have to write a web grabber. The only tools I can find which look suitable for Kodi on embedded linux seem to be the following: http://zap2xml.awardspace.info/ http://mc2xml.awardspace.info/ https://github.com/edit4ever/script.module.zap2epg Since there is a wealth of free EPG data for U.S. channels, I'm kind of surprised that no one has integrated a web grabber for these sources into a Kodi EPG add-on already. So I'm wondering if I might have missed something obvious, and trying to decide the best way to proceed. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate it. ___________ List of U.S. EPG data sources DISH Web interface - https://www.mydish.com/guide API - "Using this API you have full access to DVR, timer, EPG" https://www.dish.com/develop-for-hopper/ DIRECTV Web interface - https://www.directv.com/guide API - "Integrate DIRECTV's on-demand catalog listings into your own discovery experience." https://www.directvdev.com/homepage ZAP2IT Web interface - https://tvlistings.zap2it.com TITAN TV Web interface - https://titantv.com PVR interface - https://titantv.com/help.aspx#PVR101Topic API - "allows users to retrieve information on TV programs and lineups" https://www.programmableweb.com/api/titantv http://data.titantv.com/dataservice.asmx RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - mzup - 2018-03-21 I am using the WMC skin. I make sure to click once. It does get changed in the xml file. It goes from 9 when I set it to 10 when it changes back. I checked to make sure when it last happened. Sorry forgot to say what i am running. I am running Liea on Windows 10. RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - Daveabuk - 2018-03-21 Hi, great work btw. I'm trying to import my PVR playlist but only BBC1 is showing on the channel lists. When I go on Stream Setup and select strm|m3u it doesnt matter what channel I select in my m3u file only BBC1 is there. If I select import import playlist and choose my m3u nothing seems to happen and if I select Import PVR nothing happens. I think I must be doing something wrong. Any help would be great. Thank you. EDIT: Ok so I've found that I need to selectewhat channels to display. Is there a way around this where I can just show the channels what are inside my m3u file? EDIT AGAIN: So I figured it out, the channels will display according the XMLTV data. The problem I'm facing is that doesn't seem to want to work. Even though it works through IPTV Simple Client. The XMLTV data is a link directly from my IPTV provider. Am I missing something in settings? Thanks. You only need to click on TV Guide Fullscreen - WMC once to install it. After that you can just use the normal TV Guide Fullscreen add-on. Looks like I have some work to do as I never tested the WMC skin to handle anything other than 10 channels per page. If you want to run it on Android you are going to have to jump through a lot of hoops but it can be done. http://www.webgrabplus.com/content/webgrab-android-mono-termux My yo.tv source used to be good for grabbing from lots of different providers but that is broken right now. You could see if you could fix it if you know a bit of python. |
