Shouldn't we consider making Weblate contributions open to anyone (like Jellyfin does) ? This could improve both the rate of progress and quality of the translations.

Agreed, but as we're all volunteers it's not easy finding people to take over in areas they're not familiar with.

What is the reason for the necessity to register before contributing to translations ? It could be open. Jellyfin for example allows anyone to improve their translations.

Added @CutterX, @3vtv. Regarding the request to join Esperanto and Irish translation teams. I don't see such teams in the admin console. I'm new to it but I'll try to figure out how to add translation teams for languages. Then I'll add users who requested access to those teams.

The problem with French is that all translated string are already approved, and I don't have the authorization to change those.
