That's exactly what I meant by the Ken Burns effect--- the animated wallpaper on all views looks great!

The music UI is where we probably spend most of our time so here's a super crappy mockup of my vague idea. I like having a list of the 'up next' tracks in the queue. Space could be further optimized by shrinking the scrubber/progress bar to the width of the Artist/Track/Album section (thus allowing for a longer queue list) but in my quick and dirty job getting rid of the media flags (mp3/flac, bitrate, etc.) and adding the following 6 tracks in the queue is still pretty good imho. I like the layout and usefulness of everything else, though.

@Aaiemron , my apologies for taking so long, but any change to the widget code requires very extensive testing on my part, as there are quite a few scenarios.  I have added on GitHub the option for shelves in a "High" position.  As with the other options, this is configurable on a shelf by shelf basis.  The setting looks like this:



And produces results like these:

From what I've noticed, this only happens in Panel view.

@Cyberdom , while i see that I need to shorten the plot length by a few pixels in Panel view, I am not experiencing the issue that you mention.  I set the interface language to French to see if that would make a difference, but it did not.  Here is how it looks for me:








I do not remeber if I made any fixes which might not be in the Amber repo yet which might account for the issue.  If that is the case, please wait a few days, I will upload a new version to the Amber repo.  I just need to have some more comprehensive tesing first.  Thanks.

This happens especially when the text is too long and it scrolls upwards.

Can you take and look and see if anybody else is having the issue or if I'm missing some other add-on that is now required for that functionality? That is one of my most used features since my collections are pretty extensive and being able to jump head to the end of the alphabet, etc is huge for me. Thanks.
