I am using PKScouts hack to get this skin working in Matrix but I swear both these features were working yesterday with no other changes made by me.

When you're in the TV Show information page you must "click" on the season number in order for it to select your first unwatched episode. Once you do that then you can press down and it will replace the scrollbar.
If i'm correct you are pressing down without clicking on the season number first. See image below.

Not sure why your context menu is not showing up though.

pkscout's instruction to get this working on Matrix is fine. Been using it without issue besides the Addon page. I'm unable to select anything while in a addon information page. Normally you can click on Open, Uninstall, Disable, etc.
Any idea on this @pkscout ?

RE: Arctic Horizon - Hardax - 2021-01-14

Looks like it might be intentional. If you enter a library node very top level it shows, for example a list of TV seasons and then thumbnails of the highlighted season below it. This is the screen that does not allow a context menu or the press down for wall view. If you click into an actual season the view is basically the same but you are really one level deeper (your inside a season folder). Here everything works as expected.

If it is intentional its not very intuitive as you can select an individual episode at that top level but you cant do any interaction with it other than playing it.

Yep - I just posted the same conclusion. Are you able to select an episode at that top level like in your screen shot and get a context menu though? I still cant. I also have the same issue when in the Add-on section. Cant choose any of the options.

Ah, now I see where you are. That's a known issue and a limitation of the Kodi skinning issue.  In the view you're showing, you cannot get the context menu.  You have to enter a season to get a context menu for an episode.  I've lost count the number of times I've been in that view, hit the button for the context menu, and then waiting like 10 seconds before I remembered.

Is there any way that A.H. could possibly get genres to show in all view modes like AuraMod?

@jurialmunkey I know you aren't yet working on the Matrix conversion yet, but I have been having a consistent problem to which I can't find a resolution (started during the first beta, continues through RC1). If I play a video from Netflix or Disney+ when the video stops Kodi crashes.  This doesn't happen when using the stock Estuary skin and doesn't happen on Kodi 18.  There was some discussion in the Slack channel about multiple busy dialogs being open, but the log doesn't seem to show that.  If you have a chance and can take a look, that would be great.

Also, if there is anyone who's using my hack to get AH working in Matrix and has Netflix or Disney+ and can try this, that would help too.  If it's just me, I'm not going to worry about it, as I'm running Matrix on my dev machine, and that thing sometimes ends up with really weird configs that cause problems.

Not just you @pkscout . Exactly same thing happens with me using your AH hack and the latest Matrix nightly.

Hi Jurial or if anyone else can help, How did you get those icons at the top of your PVR menu to be able to i assume, go back to home, etc. And aslo how can I make the PVR Guide more square like yorus is, its not very noticeable in the images maybe but inside Kodi in my honest opinion it does not look very good the more square one in your image looks a lot better, if theres a setting to make it like that can you or anyone tell me what it is? If it was a change you made I really hope you revert it.

If you want to try the skin in Matrix, you need to:

0- download and install Matrix version of themoviedatabase helper from jurialunkey's github (you may also need to make sure you have a Matrix version of script.skinshortcuts - I can't remember if that's in the Matrix repo yet).
1- download the zip from the master branch of Arctic Horizon on github.
2- unzip it
3- edit the addon.xml file and change the line that has addon="xbmc.gui" version="5.14.0" to version="5.15.0"
4- also change the version in the first line of addon.xml so that the version adds +matrix.1 to the end (this makes sure the Leia version in the repo doesn't over write this one)
5- rezip the folder
6- install in Matrix using install from zip

I've been doing this for quite awhile, and the skin does seem to work. It doesn't have any of the newer Matrix skin features, but nothing breaks from what I can see.

Is there any chance someone could share their installable zip file AFTER the changes to make it compatible with Matrix?  For some reason, when I re-zip the folder after making the changes, Kodi will not install the skin.  It keeps failing and complaining about invalid file structure.  I've tried on both Mac and Windows with no success.

You need to save it as an uncompressed zip. 7-Zip should do this by default.

And on OSX you have to do it from the command line. Using the GUI context menu seems to generate weird ZIP files. And sometimes OSX manages to insert those .DS_STORE folders if you look at the folder contents funny (by that I mean it seems somewhat random). And those have to be removed as well.

Thanks for the help. Turns out that it’s something to do with Kodi 19 and connecting to a Mac via SMB. Works fine on Kodi 17, but on 19 I can’t get any zip files to install. I switched over to an older Mac so I could use SMBup and now I can install zip files on Kodi 19.

RE: Arctic Horizon - Dan_of_Earth - 2021-01-23

sorry if this was mentioned previously, but, will the skin be updated at some point to support the latest version of kodi?

I had this

Male sure you create the zip with a root folder first, and then ensure you soon contents is within that root folder

skin.arctic.horizon.master ->

1080i
colors
.
.
.
.
add-on.xml

Etc
