- keibertz - 2011-12-19 i use all my fanarts as background. Change background every 20 sec. When the background is white or realy bright i cant see the menu. so i think a dark background behind the menu would eliminate this issue. Didnt try to dim will check this funktion New Full Screen Info Commited to SVN (Only Pre Eden) - butchabay - 2011-12-19 - Slim OSD is not yet finished - Be sure you have poster.jpg in your tvshow folder - Some fixes here and there - Martijn - 2011-12-19 butchabay Wrote:Here we go, now i need to code other movie views Sorry about that There's not yet a lot of artwork available so you can take it easy - ialand - 2011-12-19 butchabay Wrote: Yeah, I'm on the Dec 11 nightly and besides crashes, 1080i .ts files have gone nuts on me.. jerky, stuttering playback, massive dropped frames (and these WERE playing fine before I did that nightly...) anyone with words of wisdom on how to roll back to a given nightly? (this is on LIVE, not windows). - ialand - 2011-12-19 butchabay Wrote:- Slim OSD is not yet finished you just raised a good question... what's the variation between poster.jpg, folder.jpg, season-all.tbn and season-xx.tbn in the TV shows folder? the .tbn's are generated when you export the library, seperate files. - butchabay - 2011-12-19 .tbn files are artworks used by xbmc in a cashed directory, poster.jpg, banner.jpg, fanart.jpg, logo.png, cdart.png etc. are local stored files. - N.O.W.A.L.L - 2011-12-19 next version will bring so much functions/design improvements, it would deserve a 2.5 version instead of 2.07! butcha, when it will be ready could you PM me the english so I can translate it to french? (I have no SVN/Pre-Eden stuff on my setup). thanks - butchabay - 2011-12-19 N.O.W.A.L.L Wrote:next version will bring so much functions/design improvements, it would deserve a 2.5 version instead of 2.07! Sure, i think i'm going to finish the info and seek bar (paused) stuff this week. I'll open a new thread with translation files, so everyone can contribute translating. New Video Fullscreen Info Commited to SVN (pre-Eden) - butchabay - 2011-12-20 Fullscreen Info Movies Fullscreen Info TV Shows Fullscreen Info Movies Slim OSD Fullscreen Info TV Shows Slim OSD - Martijn - 2011-12-20 @butch Hmm that's a familiar logo from Avatar When you find some time to test something for. http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=964367&postcount=96 - butchabay - 2011-12-20 Martijn Wrote:@butch yep, for now it's only there ... I'll see to test it this week, thanx for the note. Cheers mate ... - N.O.W.A.L.L - 2011-12-20 Good idea foor the translation, because there are a couple of expressions I was embarrassed to translate in french, so other french minds could help At this point, I think I prefer the low old horizontal OSD, but it's too early to say no. I must first try the new ones, maybe I will change my mind. I just miss a clock somewhere in the OSD. It's somehow useful when you launch a movie at night. sometimes reading the clock you realize "Aww it's late, maybe I should stop the movie and see the end tomorrow". At least that's how it is useful for me. A good point is that you removed the play/pause etc buttons, these are useless since everybody here use a remote. For the slim OSD, I'm just afraid its width is too short: with some big title/ long name of Director there will be a lot of text autoscrolling. The centered texts in it also disturb a bit my eyes as texts are always aligned to left in the rest of the GUI, but well I can live with this Finally, what will happen when you fast fwd/rwd? will there still be the x2/x4/x8 speed overlay etc? these are good indications I think Anyway, I congratulate you butcha, you are making an awesome work! - GuiZ - 2011-12-20 N.O.W.A.L.L Wrote:Good idea for the translation, because there are a couple of expressions I was embarrassed to translate in french, so other french minds could help I can help for french translation too. I'm already on Eden and CE SVN. I think we should separate the work to be more effective. I'll take a look at this french strings... - butchabay - 2011-12-20 @nowall This is not dialogseekbar, but info screen while pressing "i" ... I agree for the witdth of the slim info (i think i should rename it so), but as the background picture is centered i like the text centered too, but i can play around and see how it looks alligned to the left. The seekbar will be highered too, because of subtitles. As said it's not a definitive layout, so i'll try to create some different ones and decide which one looks best. - N.O.W.A.L.L - 2011-12-20 GuiZ Wrote:I can help for french translation too. I'm already on Eden and CE SVN. I think we should separate the work to be more effective. I'll take a look at this french strings... @ GuiZ > Indeed just a few new strings will need a translation, and as butcha does things well, they are usually grouped and indicated clearly in the beginning of the.xml file. This way I'll start from the french 2.06 current translation, just pasting the new strings 2.07 in it and then only doing the translation. Separating work then merging will just mess up things and will not accelerate the process. I don't recommand neither to start the translation from scratch, because THIS is a nightmare, it's what I did for CE2.01. I spent hours correcting and correcting again the initial translation (correcting myspelling/mistyping mistakes). 2.0.6 is OK now except 1 or 2 things I will correct. what I propose is to do the translation myself as I did the previous one, I have a kind of habit to do it, it goes fast. Then I will release it so you can try it, possibly propose new translations I would apply. Is it ok this way? |
