Either by solving the Time out error, or the Error 87 to allow me to RDP in and use it on the kodi machine? I am still figuring things out but have solved a couple of the things I was having problems with. from what I could figure the kodi synch would send a message to kodi telling it to remove the "movie" that it was updating from the kodi library, then trigger a library update in kodi to re-enter the "Movie" with all of the new info in place. As for working on it, as you say there are more important things to bug out. I am just having fun figuring out all the little things. as for the sub files: *.srt is the most common one that i have found. But yes: I am hard of hearing so having the ability to download the subs from somewhere would be a greatly appreciated feature at least by me. thanks for your time me RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win (with music library scraping) - dubster - 2021-01-05 (2021-01-04, 20:23)bugwelle Wrote:(2021-01-04, 19:17)dubster Wrote:(2021-01-04, 19:06)bugwelle Wrote: Hi, Thanks Andre. I had to do some regedit stuff to get the manifest to work, but I can now use the application, so that's great! Where do you get your subtitles from if I may ask? :-) `*.srt` should already be recognized and be listed in the Streamdetails tab. RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win (with music library scraping) - bugwelle - 2021-01-09 MediaElch v2.8.4 - Coridian The next stable version 2.8.4 is here! Blog Post: https://mediaelch.github.io/mediaelch-blog/posts/mediaelch-v2.8.4/ Documentation: https://mediaelch.github.io/mediaelch-doc/download.html What's new? Not a lot this time. Quite a few bugfixes. MediaElch now also has an experimental CSV Exporter. :-) Where can I download MediaElch? Stable releases can be downloaded from https://mediaelch.github.io/mediaelch-doc/download.html We have a download-mirror on bintray.com as well. For Linux distributions we provide repositories for Ubuntu (.deb) and openSUSE (.rpm). For Windows we also provide a Chocolatey package. All binaries should be ready in a few hours. Where can I get help? For general question use Kodi forums, e.g. - [English] https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=136333 (this thread) - [German] https://www.kodinerds.net/index.php/Thread/14560-MediaElch-MediaManager-for-Mac-Linux-Win/?pageNo=1 If you find a bug, please open an issue on https://github.com/Komet/MediaElch/issues Changelog Check out the full changelog at https://mediaelch.github.io/mediaelch-doc/release-notes.html RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win (with music library scraping) - dpierce - 2021-01-10 (2021-01-09, 12:57)bugwelle Wrote: MediaElch v2.8.4 - Coridian Thank you so much for the new release. The only thing I just can't seem to change or struggle with is the extremely small toolbar icons. I have a 4k monitor and TV, so is really hard to hit the icons just right. I used to change the screen resolution every time I went to use MediaElch, but that got old after awhile and I just went back to slowly moving the mouse each time, watching for the info popup, then selecting the function. I wish I could just double their size in settings or view somehow. There is a workaround, see: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=136333&pid=3000648#pid3000648 and https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=136333&pid=3001118#pid3001118 Regards, Andre RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win (with music library scraping) - dpierce - 2021-01-11 (2021-01-10, 11:55)bugwelle Wrote:(2021-01-10, 01:49)dpierce Wrote: Thank you so much for the new release. I understand not having hardware for development. The 4k video cards and monitors can be ridiculously priced. Hopefully in future you'll find generous donatons to help with that. I was lucky enough to find relatively inexpensive 4k equipment off eBay. I currently have a GeForce GTX 1080 video card and 32-Inch 4K UHD monitor procured Black Friday 2019. I figure I'm good for at least the next 5-6 years before I'll get the "upgrade" bug again. Big fan, Doug RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win (with music library scraping) - robertus - 2021-01-11 with last version 2.8.4, same issue you select all episode about a tv show, and press Save All But no way, doesn't save .nfo for every eps. So you must select episode one by one, and press save. I have tried with a little folder, 39tvshow - 1515 eps RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win (with music library scraping) - Kallita - 2021-01-17 Two Part message: first you had asked where I was getting most of my subtitles from - The ones that are missing from the shows themselves I will grab in kodi itself using the opensubtitle site, I can find most of them that way, but it would be much more convenient to have it be downloaded and put in place as part of the scrape if they are missing. second (and I am not sure if this is related to the post above about not saving nfo for tvshows when scraping multiples. I am having a similar problem that I have noticed occure when "Multi Movie Scraping". For example I was scraping my movies that start with the letter D - about 25 movies or so- the first one being Daredevil . I watch as the program downloads all 7 of the available "pictures" for Daredevil, saves and then moves on to the next movie in the list. But when I go back after all the movies are done, click on daredevil , and only the two that were in place prior to the scrape are there. If I do the scrapes one at a time all 7 are downloaded ,I will Save them and they will be there the next time I click on that movie. In case it helps windows 10 64 bit 20h2 with latest mediaelch 2.8.4 OK Make it three part. I thought i would mention that my list of shows on the left has a really annoying tendancy to jump around.... I will click on something and it will jump to the bottom of the window - i will click on something else and everything will jump with whatever I clicked on suddenly at the top of the windows.....not sure if this is a "feature " or not but for me it is annoying. I can live with it if needed thanks for your time and program. me RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win (with music library scraping) - defleppard - 2021-01-18 There are some trick to download Poster and fanart for movies collection? RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win (with music library scraping) - Kallita - 2021-01-18 More info about the not saving scraped pictures problem just as an experiment I was working with my "B" movies today and thought I would experiment a bit. I did the multi movie scan which downloaded the graphics,(i do have save after download checked and the save icon will show up in front of the movie on the list) and then closed the window, thought I would try saving manually the entire group of just downloaded graphics to see what would happen, but no change on what was saved. still missing the recently scraped/downloaded pictures. Again just on a whim I decided to see which if any of them did save the graphics, clicked on a movie name - graphics not there - hit save once again (did NOT scrape again just saved) with only the one movie highlighted, and the graphics that were downloaded from the multi movie suddenly appeared and were saved. The only difference being saving multiple movies vs saving individual movies with no scraping in between. to me that indicates something wrong with the save function when used with multiples, but works when used with individuals. so for now I can work around by scraping multiple movies and then saving them individually. hope this makes sense to you. me |
