you probably have to install the skin widgets addon.
it's available in the repo, under 'services'.

any touch/ mouse input brings up the osd, why not use the play/pause buttons available there?
or am i completely missing the point? ;-)

XBMC froze a couple times here recently and I had to use ctl-alt-del to stop the application. That may have caused the problem. Any ideas on how to get it working again?
