So even though it solves the missing characters problem, it wouldn't provide the variation in weight needed in the main menu to distinguish between unfocused and focused items. Also, Noto isn't really one font, but a huge collection of fonts per language. Meaning each language would need it's own fontset included. RE: Grid - Public beta available - stacka - 2017-08-23 hi there noticed another issue when using a youtube addon channel in a widgets. I don't seem to be able to display the channel items as thumbnails for landscape 16.9 only option being returned is to render fanart. RE: Grid - Public beta available - ocarror - 2017-08-23 Hey Jeroen, currently when a show finishes kodi goes back to the home screen. Is it an idea (if possible) to make it return to the widget screen? BTW I'm loving the way it handles widgets, makes a lot of sense. A problem with this is, when scrolling back up there is not a way to make the submenu hide again automatically which creates a weird difference in behaviour between scrolling down and scrolling up. One issue i am seeing is that icons seem to have disappeared for me on the vertical menu. Please don't report issues when not upgraded to the latest version. BTW I'm loving the way it handles widgets, makes a lot of sense. Not possible as far as I know. To do this I would need an event to base the conditions and actions that are set on. So, the skin would need to know that something just stopped playing in order to say go back to the widgets. Skins can only check whether something is playing or when something is not playing, but not when something just stopped playing. RE: Grid - Public beta available - chrispe - 2017-08-23 hmmm, i have an issue with the last version, I get the message that skin has been updated but version stays at 1.0.9 Finally I updated the skin from zip file and I can say that now menu items look a lot better RE: Grid - Public beta available - stacka - 2017-08-23 Hi Jeroen, apologies. both issues reported in posts 235 and 242 are visible in 1.0.10 RE: Grid - Public beta available - kingogondo - 2017-08-23 (2017-08-23, 10:35)stacka Wrote: I am still on Grid 1.0.7. same problem here. also nvidia shield tv. I got the repo file from the post jeroen linked to gitlab. I also get an color box script error on start. RE: Grid - Public beta available - maxtherabbit - 2017-08-23 PVR debug information is visible in the player process info menu (press O) even when playing normal videos or library content. RE: Grid - Public beta available - jurialmunkey - 2017-08-23 @Jeroen - re: fonts Maybe one of these might be useful: https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/list/find_fonts?filter%5Bclassifications%5D%5B0%5D=sans+serif&filter%5Bfamily_size%5D=4&filter%5Blanguages%5D%5B0%5D=greek Lato, Nimbus Sans, Fira Sans, and Source Sans Pro are all great fonts, and according to this list they support Greek and have multiple weights. I'll add that as a choice in a later update. I will also put a description in the fontset names that will indicate which languages are supported by that font (latin, greek, cyrillic, etc.) (2017-08-23, 13:40)stacka Wrote: Hi Jeroen, apologies. both issues reported in posts 235 and 242 are visible in 1.0.10But the icons were there before and they just dissapeared? Did it happen after an upgrade, or after a specific action? I don't have a clue as to what could be causing this tbh. Can you see the icons in the home customization dialog? What happens when you try to change the icons? Highlight the icon and select as in below picture) RE: Grid - Public beta available - Jeroen - 2017-08-23 (2017-08-23, 13:41)kingogondo Wrote:(2017-08-23, 10:35)stacka Wrote: I am still on Grid 1.0.7. Not a big fan of Fira personally. Nimbus looks pretty nice and classic, might have to consider that too. But Source Sans Pro (and Roboto) should support Cyrillic, Greek, Latin and Vietnamese. Still a lot of languages missing like hebrew and asian languages, but it's a good start ) RE: Grid - Public beta available - chrispe - 2017-08-23 Just to remind you, the version number 1.0.10 is smaller than the previous 1.0.9. Maybe that’s the reason I couldn’t update from your repo RE: Grid - Public beta available - stacka - 2017-08-23 (2017-08-23, 13:50)Jeroen Wrote:(2017-08-23, 13:36)chrispe Wrote: hmmm, i have an issue with the last version, I get the message that skin has been updated but version stays at 1.0.9 Yeah I can see them in the customisation screen and can change them but after I leave settings and the skin reloads when the main vertical menu is displayed there are no icons either at the top level or for any of the sub-menu items RE: Grid - Public beta available - Jeroen - 2017-08-23 (2017-08-23, 13:58)chrispe Wrote: Just to remind you, the version number 1.0.10 is smaller than the previous 1.0.9.
