Not sure if you want bug reports for this version but I have found one when entering a TV show, highlighting season 1 shows season 1, then scrolling to season 2 still shows season 1. It then increments from there so 3 shows 2, 4 shows 3 and so on...

Thanks again for the early release, it looks and feels so clean.

Thanks Smile

Yes, bug reports are definitely welcomed and encouraged! Best place to report is on github in the issues page as it is easier to keep track of the conversation related to the bug/feature (although I'm pretty sure what the issue is for this one).

Do you have parent folder items turned on by chance (the ".." item) ? I think that might mess with things.
Settings > Media > General > Show parent folder items (disable)

I always forget to test with that on, as it is the first thing I disable after ui sounds.

Yes! I forgot to disable that option. Works fine when disabled, cheers!

Also, how do you access sub menus? Left press doesn't seem to do anything?

The issue with parent folders should be fixed with v0.1.1
https://github.com/jurialmunkey/skin.arctic.horizon/releases/tag/v0.1.1

Though I think Kodi is better with them disabled (unless you don't have a back button for some reason!)

You have two options for submenus: widgets or hubs.

The submenu hub action is in the "Common" shortcuts section
Home Customise > Action > Common > Submenu Hub

You can add a submenu widget like any other widget:
Home Customise > Widgets > Choose Widget > Default Widgets > Other > Submenu

PSA - Ratings and Next Aired Info

This skin doesn't use SkinHelper or NextAired.
These functions are supplied by TMDbHelper.

To get ratings add your OMDb api key to TMDBHelper settings.

The skin also has a built in Next Aired window that uses TMDbHelper. You can add a shortcut from the Common shortcuts.

@jurialmunkey , thank you for this gift! This skin has all of your trademarks: simple, elegant, very responsive and fully-featured! Smile

I will be testing thoroughly over the next few days.

Bart

RE: Arctic Horizon - Blurayx - 2020-03-17

@jurialmunkey

Do you have any plans on displaying TV show fanart for "Next Aired Library calendar" because sometimes thumbnails are not generated?
sometimes thumbnails can generate spoilers Smile

Example: fanart added using a photo editor.

Thanks

@Criddler23 , now Google requires personal API keys for access to YouTube with the Kodi YouTube addon.  Please look in the YouTube addon thread in the forum, as it has the instructions for generating your personal API keys and configuring them in the addon.  Once you do that, the trailers will play fine, as well as any vidoes from any other YouTube based addon.

Bart

With the impact of the current COVID-19 pandemic being felt worldwide, I've decided to release this skin early. At least we can all enjoy some films and tv whilst we're cooped-up inside, whether that's because we're self-quarantining, caring for loved ones, or just practicing social distancing. Most importantly, if you're a health care professional, I hope you can find some time to put your feet up and relax on the couch with some popcorn - it's important to remember to take care of yourself whilst you work tirelessly to care for everyone else.

Stay safe out there everyone and remember to wash your hands!

Nice one! Smile

Thanks for this early release, I'm going to try it out right away as I'm working from home the next few weeks Wink.

Looks really promising at first glance!
