@jurialmunkey The MovieDB addon you created is such a good addition to the skin...nice one!!!

In Theory, with the latest version of the skin and TMDB helper, can AZ2 users now pretty much get rid of extended info, and Marcelveldt's Beta repo?

Looking forward to testing,

Cheers

You may still want marcelveldt's repository, in order to have the most updated Skin Helper add-ons, since the skin still uses them, but it seems most of what EIS once did is accomplished by TheMovieDb Helper now Big Grin

Hey Doc, I've just uninstalled EIS, and solely using TMDB Hellper, it works great and is much faster. It will only get better as it gets updated, espeically when customisation of what lists we can select to call in the Info Dialog.

I'm pretty happy with IMDB and TMDB ratings which is working fine for me as I only have the Kodi repo versions of Skin Helper addons installed, aside from the ratings that can be fetched from rotten tomatoes and metacritic, is there any other features i'm missing out on by not updating to Marcel's beta repo that you know of?

@jurialmunkey

The MovieDB addon you created is pure genius. what gave you the idea to use The MovieDB.
I use to Wait ages for the tv/movie info to appear, Now its almost instant.

Thank you for your hard work and dedication to making AZ2 the best skin.

I'm so impressed I made a donation Wink

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - trinaldi - 2019-08-14

I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but I can't seem to find a scrollbar.

I have 940 Albums on my Music Library, I'm going through the albums one by one, tried the options, skin options, nothing.

Any help?

Thanks for this skin!

Hi @jurialmunkey

I have been using Zephyr 2 since Day 1 and I absolutely love it. Still trying to find out how to use all the features it has Smile

4 Questions where I need guidance:

1) Is PVR artwork already supported by your skin? It seems PVR artwork is downloaded, however it is not displayed anywhere in my setup.
2) For widgets it is possible to define sort method, sort direction and item limit - is it possible to add this for the submenu hub widget, too?
3) Any chance to add an EPG widget for Zephyr2 in any way? Or a widget to support channel groups?
4) Is it possible to show "number of movies / TV shows" and additional info (e.g. playtime etc) next to the other furniture items?

thanks for your outstanding work

kalle

Hi @jurialmunkey would there be a reason why every time I click a link from my favourites it crash's Kodi?

What does the log say? Try renaming/deleting %appdata%\Kodi\userdata\Favourites.xml - You can also open the file in a text editor and see if anything looks obvious as to why its crashinh

Could this be related to TheMovieDb Helper at all??

The crash issue was fixed last week.

Doubt it. They would email me if it was because they would see the traffic via my api key. Either that or they would disable my api key.

I can see the stats on my api key page. Busiest day was ~10k requests over ~200 unique users 3 days ago. That is an average of only 50 requests per user over a 24 hr period. In total, that's only one request from my api on average of every 8 seconds. If that type of traffic could DDOS TMDb, then they would be down all the time.

Plus that was only the initial spike before results began to be cached. There has been a steady drop-off of requests each day.

Far more likely that it was some sort of DDOS attack. Plus they were having issues with their servers and there were some delays to scheduled maintenance.

Fair enough! Not trying to point fingers, just thought it seemed too coincidental Big Grin
