RE: [RELEASE] Cinema Experience - the new Home Theater Experience Script - giftie - 2012-11-28 (2012-11-27, 19:35)nebrunner Wrote:(2012-11-21, 01:39)JCole Wrote: P.S. It's shitty that the refresh rate option will be disappearing. My projector (Optoma HD33) takes about 12 seconds to switch refresh rates, making this script unusable as it's cycling from 60hz to 24hz and back every video. I suppose I will have to lock the display at 60hz and play the 24hz content at 60hz. The script will not be able to control the Auto Refresh adjustment in Frodo. This is due to the fact XBMC Devevlopers have removed HTTP API(an old method of controlling XBMC, it has been on the chopping block for the last two years.) RE: [RELEASE] Cinema Experience - the new Home Theater Experience Script - nebrunner - 2012-11-28 I think Frodo is going to add nothing I want and lose some of the stuff that I use Oh well guess I don't have to upgrade. RE: [RELEASE] Cinema Experience - the new Home Theater Experience Script - Euphemism - 2012-11-28 Not sure if that comment was for me, but I am using eden with a xbmcubuntu disk, and using the backrow skin. Thanks again, for any and all help. Re: [RELEASE] Cinema Experience - the new Home Theater Experience Script - giftie - 2012-11-28 Nope, wasn't meant for you. Just saw your message. I can't do much without a full debug log. Also be sure you use the version from the first message on the first page. RE: [RELEASE] Cinema Experience - the new Home Theater Experience Script - Euphemism - 2012-11-28 Fair enough, thanks for the response. Might I inquire on how to produce such a debug log, so I might be able to get some help? Thanks. (Lucky me... I am almost nearing the final tweaking of all my machines that have been setup with Alpha 5) RE: [RELEASE] Cinema Experience - the new Home Theater Experience Script - Euphemism - 2012-11-28 (2012-11-28, 14:51)prawnee Wrote:(2012-11-28, 08:58)Euphemism Wrote: Fair enough, thanks for the response. Might I inquire on how to produce such a debug log, so I might be able to get some help? That is great. Thanks. I played around a bit last night and enabled the debugging and then turned it off after I went through the cinema experience. I have copy and pasted it below. Thanks again for any and all help. Sorry, really not sure on the customs and "proper" way of going about asking for help. Thanks again. debug I hope that is correct. Re: [RELEASE] Cinema Experience - the new Home Theater Experience Script - giftie - 2012-11-29 Please install the version from the first page RE: [RELEASE] Cinema Experience - the new Home Theater Experience Script - legallyhomeless - 2012-11-29 Is development going to continue to get this working with Frodo? What ever happened to the poll/petition that was requesting this script to be implemented into the regular builds? What ever happened to the poll/petition that was requesting this script to be implemented into the regular builds? I see you don't read messages before you post... Development is continuing, just stalled at the moment. My development computer has failed and the one I would use as a backup is not quite up to speed. What poll/petition? Implemented into regular builds? <- please clarify. RE: [RELEASE] Cinema Experience - the new Home Theater Experience Script - xm41907 - 2012-12-02 If there was a petition to integrate CE into regular builds, I'd definitely sign that. It is one of my favorite scripts. Re: [RELEASE] Cinema Experience - the new Home Theater Experience Script - giftie - 2012-12-02 Cinema Experience may end up on the official repo, once it is rewritten for Frodo. It had some details that stopped it from being accepted before. It will probably never be a direct part of XBMC as its not something that was once part of XBMC, nor a required script. RE: [RELEASE] Cinema Experience - the new Home Theater Experience Script - aptalca - 2012-12-03 hey that's great news and by the way, when you say rewritten, do you mean from scratch, or just compatibility fixes? will it also work with other addons that are running in the background such as TV - Next Aired (they currently cause CE to hang in Eden)? Thanks RE: [RELEASE] Cinema Experience - the new Home Theater Experience Script - JCole - 2012-12-03 (2012-12-03, 20:55)aptalca Wrote: hey that's great news Im pretty sure a large portion of the code can be directly swapped over to the new build of XBMC. The changeover will basicallly involve checking the dev log to see where the script is failing and addressing those issues until it runs without error. Afterward, it's just bug fixes that are reported by people like me and you. I did a 14 minute demo of CE and uploaded it to youtube. I've since cut back on the bumpers and trailers in order to get the film going a little sooner. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COUXAcICpuE&feature=g-upl |
